SGOTM 17 - Plastic Ducks

We currently only have 24 units able to go to work on Sury (2 Axes stuck in the north for a few turns, 2 LK in the west).

3 in production and PDB+BB can get one each shortly makes for 29. We could launch the war on Sury with the main stack and have the secondary follow up in 5~6 turns maybe.

I'm afraid I don't have quite enough time tonight to do this.

Do we go on with the original plan to march in two stacks? Or could the first stack sail immediately? Golden Clams has 2T to pop and hasn't yet claimed the tile we could initiate the march from. Do we want to sail the main stack from Isvarapura? Also, which Sury cities do we intend to keep?

Golden Clams can only claim the tile after popping borders.

There are several units that require healing and should be moved inside GC to heal up. We'll need several turns just to move everything over which lets us add units to the second stack.

Keep cities with high food or high commerce or unique :) resource.

EDIT: How about this?

Taking over?:)

We have 11 trebs, the major stack can use 8 and leave 3 for 2nd stack, which needs about 5 other units. The major stack can start when it's ready (when most trebs are healed) and 2nd stack can wait for reinforcement to start.

The coastal city should be razed without doubt. Naga could be saved, it has 1 forest to chop and can work on the iron tile to speedup the UB. If there's no more resource in AT, I agree it can be razed.

I agree with kill/mercy list.

My basic guideline for keeping a city aside good food/commerce/resources. Size 8+, means it can whip rathaus immediately, 6+ and 1forest or 6+ and forge. Overall rathaus + currency make each city useful. I'd keep Nagara, otherwise we need to leave troops behind to fog-bust.

I'm worried about the dom limit, as we still don't know what to expect from the last two AIs. I agree with bestsss though, keeping Nagara might make our life a little easier as we plan to keep the majority of Sury's cities anyway.

I can take over if no one else volunteers. I plan only play / test in the evenings though from tomorrow on (no game on my work computer).

Looking at the vast uncharted jungle (edit: and peaks)I do not think we will reach the domination limit. Least I'd not worry just yet.

Adding to this, cities right now are more valuable to be kept since they could contribute to the war while there are more AIs alive. If Naga belongs to Toku, then I'll raze it without doubt.

If there is chance of approaching the domination limit, we can always raze most of the cities from the last 2~3 AIs, of course that might feed us a wooden spoon. I doubt it's possible as there's team already past T200.

:wavey:

I will play a few more turns tonight after all :D

EDIT: in 3 turns we can start making chariots for city garrison, this is good!

Anyone check the graphs lately? OSS is heating up! :goodjob:

An hour ago, actually. And their culture is reasonably high. Probably built GLib and bulbed the same path as we did and also oracled Confu for specialists.

An interesting game :D

Oracle is disabled on this map ;)
However TGL sounds like a possibility (albeit costly if they also got Pyramids).

:blush::blush::blush::blush::blush::blush:

I'll say no more.

Edit: But good luck in your round and good night.:)

OSS's (Edit: TSR) power graph is more like a war with catas, that's ~7 turns slower than Kaku, whose power chart was quite impressive after 1100AD. Kaku's war progress is probably only ~10 turns after us since they killed Mansa earlier.

T117
I love when a plan comes together. We regained the required tile to war 1 turn faster :)
Spoiler :

The brunt of Sury's forces are in the first city we'll encounter.
Spoiler :

Tokugawa's area is a real mess.

T118
Sury is first to Music and gets the free GA.
Possible extortion?
Spoiler :

I'll stop before I'm ready to DoW. We'll have to decide how to deal with QSH. Either arrogant demand or get him Pleased then beg. I'm for the arrogant demand ;)
