QSH has almost as many troops as us inside Beijing. I had started moving the WE and XB last turn so that they could garrison the city... however now they might be needed to take the city down in 1 turn... which leaves Guangzhou a bit weak. (LK and Axe) ... as long as the CKN doesn't move, it should be ok.

In the north, it doesn't feel right to leave Nanjing unchecked. We can definitely send troops Churchill's way but we should keep some to take Nanjing as well... no trouble in whipping a bit harder now :)

The criteria of keeping cities should be higher and higher because cities now will contribute less and less than before. Even city in revolt is going to cost 5+gpt due to the civic maintenance fee. Therefore, Chengdu (without UB and not food abundant) could be razed. As you can see that a crappy city as Gao is producing troop now while Chengdu needs 6 turns to produce troops even if we skip UB.

Theoretically we could raze all cities of the last 3 AIs no matter how great they are. Except that a couple of Russian cities could be saved since they might offer intercontinental trade routes. Of course, as long as our economy could afford, I'd be happy to see high score.;)
 
What about Beijing? Leave Guangzhou lightly garrisoned?

For Nanjing I'll keep as many troops as it makes sense to... send as many as we can towards Churchill.
 
We could take Beijing next turn, but I'm not sure that it would save any time in the long run. We'll have to sacrifice a couple of Trebs, hope that the LB doesn't pawn our first Treb so that the second can attack the Chuk, promote the Maceman to CRIII... it's all a bit risky for my taste.

I'm not sure that the southern Spy builds will help. If we whip next turn, this turn is spent investing hammers (1), one turn is needed to whip (2), 5 turns are needed to travel to Shanghai (7), and the Spy can only revolt or sabotage on the following turn (8).

The southern stack has bombarded already (1), will probably spend 1 more turn bombarding (2), then attack (3). After Beijing, it needs 3 turns to reach Shanghai (6). On the following turn it can bombard (7). On the next it can bombard and/or attack (8).

The southern Spies could help let some Trebs heal or else let our stack use the roads on the way to Qin's final city... I guess what I'm saying it, only build them if you have a definite purpose.

As ever, the focus should remain on preparing stacks for Churchill and Peter. :hammer:
 
True... only the one from Raja can get there for a T143 mission.

Still, we get a chance at capturing the city 1t earlier and healing some Trebs with the 2 other queued spies. That's certainly worth some gold.
 
I agree to let north stack take Nanjing before sending to Peter.

2 Units in Guangzhou are fine since only 1 knight is able to attack, moreover, our non-treb units are more than the defenders in Beijing.

We have nearly 2000 Gold banked, ~20 turns assuming that we don't capture a single city ever again. So let's ignore RHs from now on and just build Granaries and units. Die Rathäuser can be prioritized again when we drop to -180 GPT, or less than 1000 Gold.

The economy is quite good imo. We have no problem of pumping units without distracting to economy in the next 20 turns.

Depends on the estimated date of victory, some cities might just whip units before infrastructures if economy could afford. Beijing is such an example. I guess that we could stop producing troops after 20 turns from now so that Bejing only has less than 10 turns to produce units.
 
I've modified what city builds had not been whipped in the first go.
Granary and then units. Skipping barracks, we'll just bum rush what's left of the AI.

EDIT: We're now up to 16 galleons. I'll keep making a few in OO and SI but we're reaching a comfortable number now, they'll be in place relatively soon.
