What's the Greek building meant to symbolize? I can make some edits to my version, and integrate your colour scheme as well.

I wonder how would someone draw in a heraldic style? I tried with the house thing, but in the end I stuck with the silhouette.
 
Was going for berserker rage Norman nationalism, but EQ flat out told me that was utterly impossible.
 
Yeah, I shouldn't have done that. In retrospect, and after several years more thought into the matter, Norman (and indeed, any French state) nationalism should have been possible. The differences in linguistics, religion, and so forth should have been enough to establish a different identity and nation. Still kicking myself over that.
 
Kick harder EQ. I had that in mind when deciding whether to join the Confederation peacefully or fight it out alongside Languedoc. :p
 
I've been looking around at Burgundian flags, and I haven't any idea what a new modern post-dictatorship Burgundian flag would look like. EQ, could you advise me as to what real flags I should look towards, or are there any former flags of Burgundy from the 1800s part of this nes?

I reckon you should just go with the blue and yellow diagonal stripes for Burgundy. I think that's what I was always invisioning, and the simplification might seem logical in the wake of what's happened there.

I remember being a very large backer for Jacksonian independence, so I definitely sent you various professionals and advisers to help you establish your government and create some kind of domestic economy. Whether they stayed and raised any families or anything is up to debate, though I know that when we sold the Adolphus colony in the Oregon Territory at least some of the people there fled to Jacksonia instead of Vinland.
