Master Map Change Thread

Portugal can colonise pretty quick, and it's not like it needs to build much of an army before then.

Why can't the iron spawn after the classical period?
 
If Portugal were to have any iron where it would not be in colonies it should be on the hill in Portugal. However, since AI Portugal is rewarded with a city with iron after Astronomy (Southeast Africa), and there is no need for Portugal to have an offensive military early on, I see no problem.

I agree with you, but Portugal gets frequently murdered by Spain. It need some form of defense.
 
I always under impression when playing as Portugal, if I want an Iron, I should go south and conquer Casablanca. Which is pretty historical / accurate.

Oh, btw, I think Ponta Delgada (or more accurately Vila Franca do Campo if founded pre-1522) should be little more west than it currently is... it is almost always settled around 150-200 years earlier than it should in-game.

I think by moving Ponta Delgada 1-2 tile West, thus unreachable by galley, will encourage Portugal to settle their 1 settle to North Africa.

Master Map: Now all the map changes in the three scenarios fully playable.

How to install just the maps:
Spoiler :

*Copy the WB maps in an accessible place in your computer.
*You can rename and place them in the public maps folder.
*Ignore the other files.

Note: Khmer will play an inormal game.


How to install the maps plus the Khmer map/mechanism changes:
Spoiler :
*Make a backup, or in other words make a copy file of the mod file. (recommended) I may screwed something up.
*Paste the python files in the assets\python folder.
*Paste the DLL file over the assets folder.
*Paste the scenarios in a location. If you want to access them regurally paste them in the public maps folder.

Notes:
*The version is based on svn 615. If you don't use this svn, then one god knows what version are you playing :lol: The DLL would be from svn 615 and other files from other versions.
*I'm not willing to make more changes. I may make a change, but I cannot guarantee it.

P.S: Please make sure to get into account the file Resources.py before making any resource changes. Resources are placed into space AND TIME. They are placed or into timespace!
