Morning Two
The Bannor awoke to find the camp entirely immersed in thick fog, which greatly obstructed their vision and gave everything the appearance of miserable grey. They emerged tentatively from their tents to face the day ahead, hoping desperately that it would be better than the last. Capria was dead, and still had no replacement. Without a strong leader to organise and command them, the Bannor felt listless and confused. They huddled around the camp fire, as Frozen In Ice, the Diplomat, once again heated up some of the remaining broth to share amongst the group.
It gradually became apparent that one amongst their number was missing, a man who's presence at meal times was usually so obviously felt due to his constant complaining, and the vaguely offensive comments he so regularly made towards non-humans. Quietly, Bad Player the Old Lady got up and approached his tent, lifting the entrance flap to find…
Kennigit was Dead!
The sight of another of their own, slashed to pieces and laying in a pool of his own blood, both infuriated and frustrated the Bannor. They knew once and for all that the demon Lilith had to be stopped, but how?
A brief search of the Old Man's tent found that he was not in possession of any items, and so the first point of order was resolving yesterday's tie and finally deciding who would take Capria's place as Captain of the Bannor. The tally presently stands at this:
Sprig: 8 Votes: (Autolycus, Choxorn, Darth Feather, Immaculate, Kennigit, KingMorgan, Sprig, Visorslash)
Backwards Logic 8 Votes (Arakhor, askthepizzaguy, Backwards Logic, BSmith1068, Frozen In Ice, Jarrema, Verarde, Zack)
The Bannor agreed to reach a decision by Midday, whereupon the most popular candidate would be accepted as leader. As the Bannor sat around the campfire, no longer particularly hungry for their broth, they looked around at their compatriots and wondered, just who amongst them would give up so easily, who would turn against their own people to serve a wicked demon and face an eternity suffering in hell, and just what exactly had she offered that could ever persuade them to do so?
