BREAKING NEWS: Full-Scale War Declared in Vietnam, President Dearale holds an Emergency Council Session.
Less then an hour ago reports came in from Vietnam that Japan has allegedly attacked areas held by UNIVOR Peacekeeping Forces. The attack was followed by an Ultimatum from the United Arab Republic demanding complete Japanese retreat in Vietnam and a change of power in the Japanese government. The events following the UAR ultimatum was unclear, but ended up with a declaration of hostilities from both sides. In response to this developing situation, President holds an emergency council with the General Secretary and also the Military Staff, to discuss Indonesia's status in the war.

The meeting ran less than an hour, and afterwards, President Dearale went live on television, announcing Indonesia's position in this war and necessary actions that is taken by the military forces during this period of conflict.

Dearale: "..as a new situation has developed in Vietnam; Indonesia, as a nation that neighbors the center point of conflict; believe it is necessary that a clear declaration of regarding our state in this conflict is made, followed by the undertaking of necessary measures. The Emergency session of the Executive Board and the Head Military Staff have resulted in a conclusion that Indonesia will be militarily neutral in this conflict, but will take all necessary precautions to avoid the conflict from coming into Indonesia... Understanding that this conflict is still in an ongoing early progress and things are not yet clear, an prolonged session is required by the government to fully outline Indonesia's policy in this war. We sincerely regret what have this issue developed into, and hope that the two belligerent sides can reconcile their differences and settle peace..."

While President Dearale declares Indonesia's overall position in this conflict shall be neutrality, she has yet to announce further details regarding the 'necessary' actions that Indonesia shall take. After the short broadcast, President Dearale immediately went back to the ongoing emergency sessions, in order to finalize the policies that Indonesia will undertake during this period of conflict.

Meanwhile, broadcasts following President's speech announces that the Indonesian military will conduct a military recruitment campaign, to ensure that Indonesia will be well-staffed if the conflict ever take a horrible turn into this nation. The level of military readiness has also been increased. But despite this unexpected sudden escalation of the conflict, the General Staff will still hold the discussion of altering Indonesia's military policy next year according to plan.

Indonesia 'disappointed' by Platonic Republic's decisions.
Indonesian Foreign Minister, Mrs.Svetta yesterday states that Indonesia is 'disappointed' by the poor decisions that was undertaken by the Platonic Republic.
She highlights that the high-death tolls and unnecessary violence that have happened in Thessaloniki was very unnecessary and could have been completely avoided.

Svetta: "...the Republic of Indonesia hereby expresses it's disappointment towards the Platonic Republic's method of handling the trouble in Thessaloniki. The attack against the city was hardly justified, under the so-called notion of national security and baseless territorial claims; the Platonic Republic have massacred man, woman, and children alike in what is supposed to be a preventable tragedy. The empty and destroyed street of Thessaloniki shall be the bare witness the work, of the 'morally' superior' Platonic ideals. In the wake of this humanitarian disaster, Indonesia sends condolences to the people of Thessaloniki, and we urge that Thessalonians should not commit the same atrocities that the Platonic Republic have conducted, and solve this issue through peace."

Mrs.Svetta herself has called the Platonic Republic and the UN to handle the conflict in Thessaloniki through democratic referendum several months ago. It was out-rightly rejected by the Platonic leadership, and was not-responded by the UN, as it was blanketed by the ongoing conflict in Vietnam. When asked whether Indonesia should take an action if the Platonic Republic continues it's illegitimate aggression against it's 'own people', Mrs.Svetta simply answered:

Svetta: "Unfortunately, We are in no position to commit ourselves in an issue halfway across the globe. So we shall remain on what we currently able to do, and that is actively observing the actions taken by the Platonic Republic."

Meanwhile, in Yogyakarta, the Platonic Embassy is surrounded by barricades and more than five-hundred protesters, mostly University students. The city police is deployed into action to ensure that the protest does not turn into unwanted violence. The Platonic delegates however, despite being surrounded by so-many protesters, are still relieved. As the protests against them are not as worse compared to the protests also currently ongoing in the Japanese embassy, which is estimated to have more than a thousand protesters.

Marking the 100th Day of the KNPP Construction and Development Program
This morning, exactly 100 days after the start of KNPP's massive and ambitious development program, the KNPP have just published the reports and statistics regarding the achievements gained so far in the nation-wide construction projects. The reports shows great results, it states that many of the planned projects, particularly the Housing and Road Rehabilitation projects may be finished far earlier than the planned deadline, thanks to the support and initiative of the population themselves.

Under the spirit of 'Gotong Royong', many local citizens volunteered to help in the project, they are carefully observed and guided by the professionals to conduct light and simple tasks, allowing the projects to be finished faster without jeopardizing safety and standards. Within these 100 days, most of the 'First Stage' programs are close to completion, particularly the Inner-City Road rehabilitation. While the Housing and Industrial sectors received less, but also substantial boost of progress.

This fast growth have tremendously uplifted Indonesian economy in the past months, making many speculators around the world to consider Indonesia, as a rising power. But despite these huge growth and positive speculations by both internal and external speculators; President Dearale reminds Indonesians to stay focus on their goals and not to let the current positive trend in growth blind them. She states that Indonesians should always stick to their roots whatever the future shall reveal to them, and that is to remain humble and content.

Dearale: "..Indonesia is considered to be a rising power...growing to be a power that can change the course of history. But let us not be arrogant in this process of maturity - let us always stay to what we have always stood for, and let us always remember what we were and where we came from - When fate brings us the power, the power that can bend the fate of millions, the power that can change the course of history, and a power that shall allow our names to be remembered for eons of human civilizations as the greatest of all; We must always know... that we are but nothing in this world, floating as a cosmic dust, within the infinite space. The glory and greatness that is desired by every-nation and every-kings and leaders that have ever been born, are just a mere part of it. When fate brings us power, Indonesia shall not chase such meaningless glory and title. Instead, Indonesia shall do all-the good they can, as it were, it is, and it shall always be what Indonesia does as long as it still stands, until the final breath of it's last man."

Overall, the President states that she is positive about Indonesia's future. But she insisted that the current advances and boosts does not guarantee the a continuous economical growth, and will do little to the final goal of an Indonesian economic power. She stated that the most vital part of this project is the energy developments. She believes that Indonesia will be economically safe, only when it is independent and abundant in terms of energy. This is expected to happen when the series of renewable energy plants and alsothe Algae research is fully completed and operational by the 2130s.

Interview : Terrorists hit Austria and France, Sparking rising concerns of feminism related violence.
After the terrorist bombing of the Schönbrunn Palace in Vienna few months ago that managed to took the life of the former Austrian Archduke, Europe is hit again by yet another terrorist attack, but this time, two terrorist attacks.

The first was a shootout that took place in the University of Marie Curie, in Roche, France. The second was an attempt to assassinate Archduchess Claudia of Austria, in the backstage after a press conference. While it is unlikely that the attacks in France and Austria are related, inside sources have hinted that the assassination attempt on Austrian archduchess are closely related with the bombing of the Schönbrunn Palace that took place several months ago and all three attacks are seemingly related towards the radical feminist movement currently raging across Europe and the rest of the world.

Although Indonesia is very far and relatively safe with the boiling radical feminist movements in Europe, many are still worried, that the flames of radicalism may spread to Indonesia within these hard times, especially during an ongoing 'World War' in nearby Vietnam. To discuss this issue, we have brought Kayla Nasution, an expert of the Laws, Politics, and Philosophies of feminism.

Presenter: "Welcome, Mrs.Nasution, to our Studio, its a great honor to have you here. How are you Today ?"

Nasution: "Fine Thanks ! and the pleasure's all mine !"

Presenter: "So...Mrs.Nasution. With the current war ongoing in Vietnam and everybody in Indonesia is gearing up to prepare against a possibility that Indonesia might be dragged along the rest of the world into the bloodbath, some people are actually more worried about the radical feminist that might be related to the recent attacks in Europe. What do you think about this ? Is this worry justified ?"

Nasution: "To concern more about the situation in Europe compared to what is ongoing to Vietnam is simply an overreaction. It might be due to the fear of such ideology being implemented in Indonesia, the fear is most probably within the male section of the nation, not because the possibility of such radical movement to gain strength in Indonesia, which I think is an important point to know for the audiences."

Presenter: "Hmm...are you implying that the possibility of a radical feminist movement in Indonesia is unlikely ?"

Nasution: "Yes, it is very unlikely for radical feminism to gain foothold in Indonesia."

Presenter: "Why so ?"

Nasution: "Feminism is a type of movement or idea that gains support through their highlight of a particular issue. For example, in the early 20th Century USA the feminist movement went strong as they try to voice women's right to vote. Meanwhile, in few years before, in a former British Empire colony called 'New Zealand', women's right were already instituted and there are only little more feminist movement in New Zealand at that time because there are no-longer a major issue to highlight. This trend continues until now. Feminism will only gain support when there are one huge woman-related issue that needs to be brought to the table. So it is limited to the region's condition. Several region might still have issues while other might already eliminated it, therefore the growth of feminist movements are limited by the condition of the country."

Presenter: "What are actually the issues of Today's feminist movements, and is Indonesia safe from it ? considering that more than 65% of Indonesian population are females."

Nasution: "The current major issue of feminism, or at least the most radical ones that we currently have in Europe, is the establishment of a matriarchy where female rule over male, and male in most cases were stripped with some of their rights. It is like we are travelling slowly back to the early 20th Century but in reverse. This new issue or say, 'idea' is because after the Third, Fourth, and Fifth World Wars that took place throughout the 21st Century, the world is left with far more female than male population, because the male population mostly perished as they are the ones that usually fought the war; and the woman that became the majority, viewed the destruction that is caused upon the world is entirely men's fault. Marking all men as brutes that bow down to their animal instincts... and of course, it gained huge success in many of the war torn nations. But Indonesia remained largely out of the conflict, although we have an internal conflict of our own back then, it was mostly blamed on radical religious-ethnic movements and not on men, and until now the relations of men and women in Indonesia are generally well."

Presenter: "Hmm...Okay. But 'if' a referendum is conducted, and Indonesians are given two paths, one towards a feminist based society, and the other is not, how would our female majority nation choose ? "

Nasution: "I am quite certain, if that imaginary referendum is conducted right now, in this kind of situation, it would lose. One of the reasons that such degree of feminism is successful in France is because the nation was horribly unstable after the World Wars, in that kind of situation, every kind of radicalism rises and as the French people believed that feminism is what they need, feminism then won. But here, the state of our nation right now does not require an ideology like feminism. Its currently fine as it is, without any gender issues, and also supported by the current economic progress. In this kind of condition there are absolutely no reason to choose feminism over our current form of social order."

Presenter: "How about the core supporters of feminist radicalism that exist here in Indonesia, what do you think of their viewpoint on a 'Feminist Republic of Indonesia'"

Nasution: "Well....a lot of my friends and colleagues can be defined as these 'radical feminists', they are the ones who wholeheartedly support many of the ideas adopted by the French government and some of them even support the replacement of the current Austrian monarchy with a feminist style government. But these acquaintances of mine always said they are pleased with how things currently work in our country and how our government runs things. Some of them are even in the government itself, a notable example would be our Foreign Minister, Mrs.Svetta; she went to France during her course to gain her Law degree, and there she participated in the some of the organisations which would today become the core parts of the French feminist political system. She also written several works about feminism that can be considered as radical as the French ones, she views that women are naturally superior in many ways compared to males, and there she also suggested that laws should be created to restrain men in order to establish an ideal female dominated society. But now, though now she gains a very influential position in the government, she never made any statement whatsoever to suggest such motives to be conducted. She is content with how thinks work in Indonesia and the most warm and beneficial relations between men and women in Indonesia, so in the end it will still be determined whether the condition demands feminism ideals to grow or not."

Presenter: "Well...that is one great personal insight. Hopefully every feminist in this country is similar in thought with your friends and colleagues. But of course there are feminists who supports the implementation of a feminist society based solely on their desire for a female subjugation of males; without looking at whether the government is working well or not... and also not based on whether there are major gender related issues, they just simply want to dominate over men. What is your response about this. "

Nasution: "Uhh....If there are any feminist who wants Indonesia to be solely dominated by females, I think President Dearale have beat them to it . Our government is hugely dominated by females, for every one male minister there are eight female ones, and the about 70 to 80 percent of the legislature are females...the General Secretary is a female, and not to forget, President Dearale herself is a female. So in essence, Indonesia is already a female dominated country."

Additionally,

From: Foreign Minister of the Republic of Indonesia
To: The Embassy of the Platonic Republic in Yogyakarta

In response to the offer by the Platonic Republic regarding a mutual cooperation towards the development of Thorium and Algae energy in our respective nations, Indonesia hereby declares its interest to commit in a pact, that may develop both our nations and strengthen our diplomatic ties. But unfortunately, Indonesia feels that the Platonic Republic's offer cannot come at an even worse time.

The Republic of Indonesia still feel that the actions that the Platonic Republic took in solving the matter at Thessaloniki are by International Laws and Norms dishonorable. Indonesia also expresses it's legitimate disagreement towards the ideals that the Platonic Republic follows. We feel that the Platonic ideology which divides society upon unequal status, a violation of human rights and is the root of the current unrest within the Platonic Republic. We urge the Platonic Republic to change it's course before the situation turns into an unwanted way.

Therefore, Indonesia kindly puts on hold the current offer suggested by the Platonic Republic under the basis that the Platonic Republic commits actions and adopts policies that is against what Indonesia stands for. This offer will surely be re-discussed in the future, as Indonesia have a good faith, that the Platonic Republic will one day change its course for the better.

TEXARKANA DECLARES WAR ON JAPAN

"For years, the Empire of Japan has made a monkery of the international system designed to end aggression between powers, foster cultural and economic links across the world, and promote the obedience to the rule of international law. Texarkana, for years a strong advocate of an international system, now sees that unless the Empire of Japan is stopped now, it will continue its aggression against the peace-loving peoples of Asia.

For that reason, a state of war now exists between the Empire of Japan and the Mayornate of Texarkana..."
***

"That was Mayor Hannegan addressing the Congress of Texarkana after the Congress voted in favor of war measures against the Empire of Japan. After the break, we will discuss what this war means to the average citizen of Texarkana and what every man, woman, and child can do to aid the war effort."
***

"Our men need guns, bullets, fighter jets and bombers, destroyers and submarines, and rations. Your scrap metal, bond buying, and self-sacrifice at Texarkana's time of need will make the world safe for democracy!

May the Lighthouse of North America cast light into the darkness of Asia and smite the aggression of Japan for all time."

The President of New Rhodesia, Lachlan Urquhart, and the Prime Minister of Mozambique, Joaquim Machungo, have announced that a General State of Preparedness is to be sounded. All able-bodied men are encouraged to sign up for local Defense Militias, in case of full-blown war.
This action taken in response to increasing tensions across Earth.
The Salisbury Armaments Division is also offering to supply the UAR with Rhodes Mk1 rifles should they wish to use them.
OOC: why on earth is all of Rhodesia's ruling class made up of scots again

OOC: I almost fell off my chair when I read 'Urquhart' in that story of yours, tbh.

OOC: 'Cause well, I only know of one Urquhart and it was a WW2 British general.

Japan will do it's best to liberate the Americas from Texarkana's occupation.

Cerberus

The operates to save guard the Platonic Republic from the criminal terrorist organisation known as the "People's" Militia is being conducted with the official legislature creating the Cerberus Pack. Xanthe Vlachos of the Protective Caste has been summoned to be appointed Supreme Alpha of the pack by the Philosopher Council. Vlachos will be deployment to command Cerberus involvement in Libya with aid of the Platonic Intelligence League (P.I.L) and the Libyan General Dawood Ajam of the Protective Caste. The mission of the anti-terror commando unit; to hunt down the People's Militia and their terrorist leader, Abu al-Fadl Abdulrashid. Search and destroy operations are to be conducted to hunt down the terrorists and their aids. Cerberus reminds us that the struggle for justice may be harsh but its rewards are worth it!

Renewing Thesseloniki

Having liberated the city of Thesseloniki from chaos General Xylon Toto and enough of his regiments are to remain while the rest shipped off for other duty. However the city is in hindrance thanks to the terrorist occupation that it suffered over a season and hence in need to repairs. Members of the Productive Caste are being commissioned for a renewal project to bring hope to Thesseloniki. Those who fought bravely for Operation Eunomia will be further honoured by the modest efforts of the workers.

The Tower of Plato?

It is noted that the Thesseloniki city hall was a tragic causalty in the liberation, ever a crime by the People's Militia.* Let the renewed vision to rebuild the city hall has considered a new project for not only a local office of governing but also a symbol of Platonic will; a tower most babel. Cyrus Colonomos, a artitect of the Productive Caste, has envisioned a project that the Platonic Republic could take in Thesseloniki durning its renewal. This tower seeks to be 634.4 metres with a statue of Plato on top. The tower would be a wonder to the marvel of Plato and the just power of the Platonics!

Papadakis Responses to Indonesia

Indonesia has received our most honourable request to share in energy technologies. However Takis Papadakis have heard some ill news; Indonesia have been deluded by the People's Militia's lies! Well the Platonics confess to facing all mass of armed combatants, we did not target unarmed personnel. Papadakis response was swift. "Anyone with a gun threatens the brave Protective Caste warriors that day; if they sough no harm they put down their weapons and embrace the justice as predestined for them! Our practice was reasonable by Westphalian standards and were in the realm of the domestic, not the international. We will suggest Indonesia does not prove itself weak in discipline by not recognising the importance of dealing with opposition, especially of terrorists. Also; we would to inform that any protester we discover damages the Platonic embassy or hurt any Platonic personnel have to endure Platonic law for our embassy is our grounding in a country. We will judge as seen fit but just to warn you so that you may start disciplining your citizens... " Papadakis spoke from his mind well!

All hail Plato for more news!

OOC: the Platonics have a... strict vision of society.

*The city hall was blown up by the Protective Caste after conclusion it might have been used as a parliament by the resistance.

volgan federation is that thing in russia right? I join as that. Can I change stuff up?

You can play it I guess. :)

But better wait till RC confirms. Still: welcome aboard the Steamship IOTXIV! :D

Well, at least we dont have to overstretch ourselves. now all we have to focus on is Japan.

The Federation was not marked for civil war during its short time as a NPC.

I blame the vodka for stopping the civil war. ;)

Story coming as soon as I can corner RC :p

The Cerberus Pack, our special elite counter crime, anti-insurgent and (in war) elite commando unit, would like to discus what necessary arms that we will require for Cerberus's counter insurgency operations.

In other areas we are interested in building up our navy. Do you have any missile ships and cruisers?

Finally; the Protective Caste is interested in conducting military research. Would you be interested in a special Military Research Pact? If signed we can especially develop in marine warfare (good for business) and perhaps consider the development of a armoured combat rover (good for advertisement). The rover especially would be useful in hit and run, as well for recon and for urban combat. We will purpose our military scientists designs when the opportunity arises.

we'd like 11 of These aircraft carriers, modified to fit current standards, and be powered by thorium reactors, which is currently en route to you. the cost should be around 100 million each. if its any higher, the Empire will pay the difference.

of course, the Roman Empire is open to better designs for light ACs, as our records are incomplete.

Winchester Corporation will take over the needs of Platonic special forces groups; assault rifles, mortars, and shotguns to your hearts content, we have it here at Winchester Corporation!

Prices will vary, but you should expect around $2000/unit in terms of light arms, and $5000/unit for demolitionary weapons.

Norfolk Industries will take over the Roman request, at the price of $150m per unit. Crews will have to be provided by the Romans. We're willing to let you pay for units in seperate payments, at a rate of 8% interest on each payment.

The United States will not enter into binding agreements with foreign powers in the fields of military research.

Norfolk Industries will take over the Roman request, at the price of $150m per unit. Crews will have to be provided by the Romans. We're willing to let you pay for units in seperate payments, at a rate of 8% interest on each payment.

Actually, the Roman Empire apparently cannot construct 9 Light Aircraft carriers that i wanted, as the GM said, we would like 20, instead of 11.

we will pay the 150M per ship, plus an additional 300 million for the trouble.

i know it costs 3.3 billion dollars, but we have enough in budget for that. barely.

"A New Insight of Knowledge"

21st Edition
The Birth of a New Robotic Era
It has been decades since the end of the last World War and the world is still slowly recovering from the wounds that it has caused. As the mushroom clouds dissolve, new nations find themselves rising around the corner of the globe with numerous potential in their hand. But their ambitions to rebuild the world to what it was before the wars was met with numerous great challenges. The two biggest challenge for the developing nations to face is the depletion of Oil, and the low world population.

While nations around the world have took numerous successful initiatives to quickly replace oil, they must still face the harder challenge of expanding their influence and growing a global-modern economy with a population roughly the amount of world population in the 19th century. It is only 8.75% in contrast to the pre-war population of 8 billion people. It means nations will lack manpower whether it is for economic growth or for the military. Even worse, the percentage of population growth is also too slow for a fast recovery.

Back in the 19th century, advances in medical practice and agricultural cultivation system enables societies to support more population and population had the incentive to breed, as the 19th century economic mindset is based upon agricultural economy, where having more children provides more benefits compared to disadvantages, as there was not much need having to enroll children into educational institutes. Children can instead be employed to work in their teenage years.

But as time progresses, the economy shifted from agriculture to commercial and industrial in which it demands educational experience to its potential workforce. Meaning that parents must now bear the burden of enrolling their children in an educational institute. Even more, parents must also provide other basic or secondary life needs to the children ranging from healthcare to entertainment. But despite all of these economic and financial expenditure by the parents, children would usually leave and settle their own life after they completed their higher education, and in most cases does not give anything (financial-wise) in return for the parents. This change in tradition caused the decline of population growth that started in the early 21st century in developed countries which continued until now.

It ends up as the population situation that we are facing now. Having only 19th century population, but with an industrial economy mindset, added by the fact there is generally no motivation for the people to have more children. Other worsening factors includes the ongoing conflicts around the world, also population growth in many regions are still limited due to irradiation from the past nuclear wars and not to forget the rising support for feminist ideologies that discourages breeding.

The empty streets of Manchester, Ireland. Many other cities around the world shares the similar fate of being lowly populated or abandoned.

While scientists and speculators can continuously debate whether world population would recover, stagnate, or even drop, it is certain that the current state of the world will pave a way to a new era of economy, namely The Era of Robotics.

For nations and industries to be able to cope with the economic demands of this new age, the loss of manpower will be substituted by a robot workforce. Robots are reliable and efficient, it can perform tasks far more accurate, in a longer period, and in a way less demanding than humans. Within this decade, the world will see a massive robot workforce that replaces the absence of humans in numerous industrial and agricultural sectors.

An automated robotic workforce would be able to perform in any kind of situation without concerning the working standards such as work hours, and safety issues the way a human workforce does, this maximizes productivity. In a massive scale, a robotic workforce is also economically better compared to humans.

Despite these promises, many are still worried about age-old concerns, such as the concern that such implementation may cause many people to be unemployed.

Researchers shows that this old concern does not apply to the current situation, with a relatively low population yet a large demand to economically expand. The coming days will see many empty rooms for a relatively small workforce; therefore an unemployment is unlikely despite the fact, the government must allocate the few available manpower to ‘higher’ tasks within society that can currently only be performed by humans, namely research sector, education sector, design, and also the military. While the automated robots conducts all ‘lower’ tasks that would not require complicated tasks such as mass-production, manufacturing, agricultural cultivation, and possibly managing the sanitation system.

In Indonesia for example, the government’s economic development program is geared towards this particular scenario of a robot based economy. Education institutes are supplemented by the government and is fully free for access by the citizens, enabling them to pursuit knowledge and learn higher working skills in order to be able to perform higher tasks within society, while the newly constructed industries is planned to be mostly automated, with a small human workforce that is employed only to manage and maintain the system.

The KNPP speculates that an automated economy in which basic and simple task are performed by robots, while supported by human management and maintenance, would give Indonesia a massive advantage in industrial production output compared to the other nations that still rely on traditional economic system.

Spoiler :
auto_building_robot.jpg

Automated Robotic Hands are here depicted manufacturing vehicles. Such robots can work almost non-stop 24 hours, requiring only routine maintenance and refuel. These kind of factories would be the basic form of most Indonesia's industry in the upcoming years.

The scope of robotic development in Indonesia is not limited to automated industrial robots. It also includes automated mass transit systems that and also military drones. Next year, Indonesian military is expected to conduct reforms regarding its military strategy and policies. Indirect statements by government officials have indicated that the development would basically headed towards bringing more military equipment to the military and modernizing it.

It is a possibility that the future of Indonesian military would be based on a land, air, and sea drones that are controlled remotely from a Battlefield forward HQ or relayed from Homeland. This tactic allows broad operations around the globe with minimal manpower required and also very minimal human loses.

But not few oppose the notion of a drone based army. Most are concerned that remote controlled drone might not be as effective as a direct human presence in terms of combat capabilities and accuracy. Many believe that while a drone army can avoid own military casualty, it may be economically more costly. It is presumably cheaper to lose a soldier than a drone. Many are also worried that an operator controlling the drone from a camera would not have a combat capability as good as a pilot directly flying their airplane as their point of view and sense would be limited to what the drone can show, additionally, this limited point of view and sense may also cause unwanted collateral damage.

Nevertheless, the discussion of Indonesia's military policy takes place next year around February or March, the exact plans for Indonesia's military is still to be determined and for now experts can only debate and speculate.

Spoiler :
puna-wulung.jpg

Currently, Indonesian drone army consists mostly of medium-ranged and lowly armed air drones with the purpose of surveillance and limited air-to-air or air-to-ground combat

Indonesia's march towards a robotic based society would not be that easy, as the tolls of the past conflict still create numerous other problems and distractions. The first stages of automated industries that is planned by the KNPP to reach completion by the and of next year would still not be the ideal robotic industry that is visioned by the KNPP.

Many of the robotic technology and equipment that Indonesia currently posses dates back from the 2060s and 2070s, horribly outdated and are not as effective as today's robots. Though for the time being Indonesia is forced to use the current robotic technology that it has, as the government's R&D sector are still concentrating on energy development.

The KNPP states that Indonesia's ambitious plan can be implemented more effectively if it cooperates with other nations. Together nations can work in order to regain the once burgeoning human civilizations. But Indonesia's wishes to cooperate with other nations may be stalled due to the current geopolitical situation.

Nevertheless, whatever happened, experts at the KNPP agrees that a Robot based economy will succeed the 'Industrial' economy system that have reigned since the mid-19th century and the most important part is that the world should be well prepared for this swift change.

Raise Your Weapon: Defense Manufacturing Could Resuscitate German Industry
Wz574dk.png

Industrial capacity among the German nations has been a shadow of its former self in the past decades. The political turmoil and the disbanding of Prussia, along with the influx of manufactured goods from Indonesia and France, has done little favors for the dwindling industrial capacity in the region. Top economists, however, believe the climate could shift drastically in the coming months, leading to a boom in manufacturing and industrial jobs in the region. German reunification talks are the most obvious causation, but economists believe that, thanks to a smaller, lesser-known deal made by Austrian officials, the economic growth could come from a much different source: sub-machine guns and rifles.

Amidst mass shootings and terrorist attacks, there has been very little attention given to the flurry of new legislation in Austria, most of which centralized the Austrian government and reformed welfare and civil rights laws in the Central European nation. One noteworthy bill called for the modernization of the Austrian military and subsidized defense manufacturing company Heckler & Koch GmbH to provide the latest in handheld weapons to the military. Heckler & Koch, once a giant in the defense manufacturing industry, has in the past decades been relying on the sale of pistols to remain afloat, lacking the funds to develop anything larger en masse.

"With [the subsidies] , we can start the wide-scale manufacture of personal defense weapons and rifles within the next few months," commented H&K spokesman Huppert Kröger. "We can expect to offer a wider array of products and services following the successful fiscal year."

The orders have not even been starting yet, and the results are beginning to show. Productivity in the manufacturing sector is growing, and unemployment is dropping sharply. The primary and secondary sectors are seeing the largest gains across the board, as industries prepare for the increased demand. While H&K will be the big winners in this scenario, economists predict that they will pull up the smaller industries with them as the economy grows.
