Dominantly, bringing Italy and Portugal into war with each other was to make Italy and Austria declare war on Germany and separate them from their Egyptian allies while finding strong allies to back the US on their decision to war Germany. It'll also destabilize Italy and Portugal, leaving more room for Spain to be rebuilt at a future time.

Whoa whoa whoa. I don't like the guy but I'd never shoot anyone! I go after people by revealing their secret deals! Moai couldn't have done it, he was also forging images revealing secrets on Wilson! If i'm insane than why would a man with a gun listen to me? Your evidence destroys itself. All communists run for the hills they're persecuting us! Oh and i'm pretty sure if the most powerful man in the world is shot I don't think you would just go back to sports.

Actually, I remember hearing something in a recent communist meeting at the McDonalds that some people were planning on something that would "save their land". He was speaking in some European accent. It sounded Russian or German. Could it be a communist that also seeks America's destruction?

It seems that the alleged Donkey Kong has been found to be crime lord, Victor Martinez.
In other news, President Wilson's wounds have been revealed to be more dire than previously thought! The bullet that went into his arm has torn many ligaments and tendons which may prevent use of that arm for the rest of his life. The bullet to his gut has apparently hit many blood vessels and he may die from loss of blood, or bacterial infection. The final wound in his knee is, by comparison, much more harmless. It has only shattered his kneecap and it is thought that his knee will make a full recovery within a few months assuming he doesn't die.

We will bring you more news on his condition when the man who will be performing surgery on him informs us. His surgeon will be none other than the man who is known as royalty by doctors everywhere, Dr. Tenenbaum. ("hint, hint")

It all makes sense now oh my god! It may or may not be staged but he will surely bloat this. It was clearly a German ploy not an American communist one. It's the Germans! In fact, if I remember rightly it was a group of communist party members who chased down the assassins despite the fact the president is completely opposed to their beliefs. The communists are the true heroes. They want only what is best for America. They will protect the president even if the president follows the wrong beliefs. Only the communist party can bring us to victory against Germany!

The thought of a world war had disgruntled the vast majority of Americans who were and still are peace loving and socialistic in their outlook. The arbitrary ban on Radical propaganda made things worse ! The USA was now a democracy in all but name with constant police patrols of working class neighborhoods and regular mass arrests. Concentration camps came out where none were there before. The Wilson administration reversed almost all of the gains of the Debs administration but most significantly, the achievement of world peace and self-determination. Wilson pushed for nations to abandon their own indigenously developed socialist program for the adoption of an American model. India was among the nations bullied by America, but they wouldn't go down so lightly.

The Congress Socialist Party which had till then ruled india and led it from a colonial backwater country to a powerhouse ranking in the top 5 nations of the world, had plotted their revenge. Gandhi and his closest colleagues, the ruling clique of the Congress Socialist Party, Nehru and 'Netaji' Subhash Chandra Bose, had hatched a master plan. The CSP had fraternal links with the Socialist Labour Party through its leading Indian origin campaigner Comrade Adhiraj Bose. In a visit to Gandhi the two discussed the apalling situation in America. Netaji pounded his fist in angst shouting "This warmongering imperialist pig must be rid of from the world!" . Comrade Adhiraj was given over 1000 gold and diplomatic support from the Indian embassy in Washington to put the grand scheme into motion. A Chicago crime lord would the catspaw in this mission to assassinate the president !

Once he was out of the way, the Congress Socialist Party decreed via Gandhi's diktats that India would revert back to the Socialist ways from which the overbearing American bully forced them out. In the meanwhile within the USA, a thriving underground network of communist cadre had assembled to take the Socialist Labour Party in a new direction. Enough had American workers been sidelined by vague talk of 'socialism' now we would fight for a Communist Revolution ! Everything needed for the transformation of American society to Communism had already been placed, a massive disruption at all coastal cities and major industrial centres would be put under way. New York, Washington, Chicago and San Francisco were to be put under worker's and student's occupation. A rapid insurrection supported by a soldier's mutiny would lead to a change in government.

I just read the whole thing in one night, and I have one thing to say.

It was I who shot Woodrow Wilson, in the library, with the revolver!

A congress with Democrats vs Socialist Labours and a minor third party!

I imagine that the political situation is as follows:

Conservatives fearing the Labourists decided to join Democrats for this term.

Not counting the 30% of their votes Laboruists were angry with Democrats. However, this incident was nothing in front of the famous antiradical bill.
Labourists reacted violently. They caused as much obstacles, strikes and riots as possible. The deepest reason of this reaction is that their political aim was in fact outlawed. These incidents transformed the political situation:

Most Labourists became member of its radicalist fraction. The radicalist fraction started to question the constitution, the system of Justice and the Congress. Many far left groups appeared and left terrorism made its appearance in various states. Radicalist fraction took over the party and whoever disagreed was deleted from it.

The few congressmen who were let out of the Labourist party joined the socialist.

Democrats demanded from Labourists to disclaim the far left terrorism. Labourists refused. This refusal split the democrats into two separate fractions. The first fraction said that Labour party should be outlawed, because it supports terrorism. The second fraction said that outlawing a party, especially the major opposition party, would be a big mistake.

The socialist party reacted against the bill too. However, it disclaimed terrorism. It stated that all parties should trust the fundamental institutions like the Congress and the Justice. However, its opinion was almost never heard in public discussions. Both the other parties sawght the socialist party as a traitor or an opportunistic party without a clear political plan. In an attempt to increase its reputation the socialist party asked from Debs to run it for the next elections.
