1921: A War Ended
Following Debs' strong re-election, he began by pardoning several imprisoned communists in exchange for reparations for rioting. The motion was seen as a great compromise by both sides of the political spectrum. As far as communist and right-wing fanatics (including both the SPA and KKK), Debs chose to lead a small investigation of these and try to curb their growth, but did not wish to fully attack these groups as he tried to maintain a neutral stance to keep the nation together.
He then signed for the independence of Holland. The nation, under chaotic conditions, was handed over to Dutch officials while they still had the task of keeping order. A year would pass until the government would gain sufficient control.
Forces then recaptured Denmark and handed it over to the Danish. Denmark was much more chaotic than the Netherlands, and the Danish suspected it would take two and a half years until order would be restored. Regardless, an alliance was signed with the Danish in order to ensure Germany would not attack the reconstructing nation.
Battles near Berlin did not improve under Debs' administration. Although heavily bombed by American bombers stationed in Vienna, the German fortifications battered the American offensive. Another division of infantry was lost in an ordered attack on a German trench

All nations at war were visited by the President, but the most notable was Japan. With large militarization programs in the last decade and an alliance with Russia, Japan demanded large amounts of American aid and technology in exchange for their peace with the world. It is also notable that Debs did not labor for peace with Germany, instead showing a slight bias against Germany, which he admitted did need military intervention to curb their expansionist ideologies. Thailand was another nation he did not fight to end war with, after their conquest of Singapore.

He agreed that they needed a war to strain their warmongering and weaken their strong military. By withdrawing now from the war with Germany, they could ensure a one vs one battle between the German and Russian empires that were deemed to weaken both sides and lead to anti-war, anti-imperialist riots.
In July, Debs met with Germany to discuss a non-surrender peace agreement. This angered conservative, war-supportive Americans as Germany would surely had surrendered; although, this would have meant war with Japan, Russia, Mongolia, and Austria, creating another world war. In exchange for Germany's end of war with Italy and Iraq, and surrender of Sweden back to their native government, Germany's core was given back. Debs then worked to create peace between nations still at war with Germany (with the exception of Russia). Although this slightly improved relations, the German Empire was still annoyed with America.

Harding's defeat sparks bourgeois terror
Following Eugene V. Debs' victory, a number of disheartening incidents occurred all over the country. From Washington to Florida, groups of finely-dressed youths terrorize working class neighborhoods. With windows shattered and insults written on walls and doors, the bourgeois release their anger coming from Harding's loss.
The assaults are thought by many to be arranged by the newly-formed Society for the Protection of America, an anti-socialist organisation aiming to ban non-capitalist ideas. With no power in the executive, the SPA apparently decided to turn to violence.
Most assailants, at present, have not yet been captured. The police struggle to get to know their whereabouts. If the officers fail, there may be civil casualties of the bourgeois oppression. If you witnessed any such incidents or can otherwise aid the police, please contact the nearest police station.
The SPA reject these accusations in the strongest worded terms. In the unlikely event that such actions have taken place, which given the lies and falsehoods that can be found in the Workers' Daily from cover to cover seems unlikely, the SPA have not mobilized our considerable resources or manpower to any effect, although disappointed with Harding's loss we recognize Debs as a great statesman and can only hope he does not tarnish his legacy by embarking on a path that can only lead to division and the ruin of our great nation.

Debs did a good job with the war. I'm glad he pressed on until Germany was distracted fighting another big power to weaken both, and this dispels any worries that Debs was completely anti-war and would weaken us.

Shooting Near UN Building, Students Killed, Suspects at Large!
Today, at around 12:45 PM, a group of twenty high school students, aged between 15 and 18, was fired upon by unknown assailants. According to the New York Police Department, a series of three cars drove by the group as said group finished eating at Umberto's Clam House, just two blocks from the United Nations Plaza, and fired on them in a hail of bullets. Four were killed instantly, with another three dying en route to the hospital. Of the thirteen survivors, five are in critical conditions, two are wounded but stable, and six are completely unharmed. The two teachers who were with the group were also unharmed, while another two teachers were not present at the scene of the shooting. No other bystanders were harmed during the shooting.
According to witnesses, the cars were all Studebaker Slick-Wheels, models 1918-1920. One was painted blue, while the other two were painted yellow. All three had New York license plates. One witness reporting seeing a "America for Americans" bumper sticker on one of the yellow cars. Witness reports said that each car had around two to three people in them.
As a result of the shooting, all events at the United Nations plaza were suspended, and the entire city, as well as all of Long Island, Westchester and Rockland counties, and northeastern New Jersey, is currently under lockdown. All people affected by the lockdown were instructed to stay in their homes (or the current building they were in, if home was not an option), while the NYPD commenced a manhunt for the suspects.
The students were all members of a Model United Nations delegation from Bethesda, Maryland. They were attending the National High School Model United Nations conference, the largest conference in the Model United Nations organization and the only one on the national level. The organization allows students to simulate being United Nations delegates of various nations in order to learn about world affairs.
All of the students in the group were immigrants, children of immigrants, or otherwise members of minority groups.* This, connected to the "America for Americans" bumper sticker, caused many to speculate that this was a racist or nativist attack, perhaps done by members of the KKK. Others believe that it was done by members of the Society for the Protection of America, who feared that Communism and Socialism could spread to America via Indian and other immigrants. Still others believe that the attack was done by extreme isolationists who believe that even mild manifestations of internationalism like the Model United Nations organization would spell the downfall of America.
Remember, the suspects are still at large. If you live in any of the boughs in New York City, Long Island, the New York counties of Rockland or Westchester, or the New Jersey counties of Bergen, Hudson, Essex, or Union, STAY INSIDE UNLESS INSTRUCTED OTHERWISE BY THE POLICE. If you report seeing any cars that match the above description or any suspicious behavior, please call 911 to report to the police.

Actually, the car that my attackers used was a yellow one. I didn't notice a bumper sticker but it was a Studebaker and I don't know what model but it looked extremely new. I was in New York at the time, I was going to an American Labor Party meeting when they attacked me. Could it be a connection?

In response to the tragedy at the UN Plaza, I send my condolences to the families of the students and I hope none of our other constituents were harmed. As for the attackers, while they are most likely an extremist group, we cannot start pointing fingers until a more thorough investigation has happened.

In response, President Debs personally flew Long Island to address the concerns and worries of the New York people. Comforting the families of the deceased, he states that no matter what the political ideology, law and civility will be upheld and the culprits will be caught. There will be no bias, nor any inclination to help these murderers. Debs then went on to quote some moralistic passages from the Bible. After the speech, he denied requests to speak with the public, stating that extremism has made such intimate, unplanned conferences dangerous.
Returning to Washington the following Sunday, he began overseeing the return of the troops and foreign affairs.

Our reporter William White interviewed the Police Chief of the NYPD for our debut issue, here is how it went:
William White: Good evening sir, can I just say what a pleasure it is that you have agreed to talk to us this evening
Frank Serpico: We at the NYPD believe it is important to be open with the people we serve, otherwise how can people continue to trust that we are protecting them.
White: Well said sir, if you dont mind I have some questions of a political nature.
Serpico: By all means go ahead
White: Well firstly I wish to ask about your feelings towards the latest presidential election, it was certainly a close one!
Serpico: Obviously I cant reveal who I voted for but I have the utmost confidence in President Debs, In 1904 I was just a young man starting off in the police under his first stint in office but I was impressed with him and certainly his policies helped us, crime rates dropped dramatically and some areas which had been no go areas for years were turned right around! Im sure Harding would have done an excellent job as well.
White: How about the election before that? Quite controversial I believe
Serpico: Ah yes, the 1916 election, I believe it drove my predecessor to poor health and early retirement. The protests and riots certainly left their mark.
White: Reading some other newspapers there have been accusations that the NYPD is becoming increasingly politicized, any comment?
Serpico: As an organisation I can stringently deny this, the NYPD serves all members of our community. I must confess that I know a large number of my subordinate members and officers are members of the SPA, the Communist riots caused a lot of resentment in New York, but the SPA have members in most police forces and I have heard large sections of the armed forces. It is only natural when you find yourselves fighting communist rioters and saboteurs to start seeing them in a negative light. But I would severely discipline any officer who let his political views prevent him carrying out his duties.
White: Any comment on the recent attacks in Broxton? According to the Worker's Daily there is an element of class warfare?
Serpico: That's ridiculous, this is nothing more than minor "gang" warfare, some college age kids had a disagreement at bar and start a summer feud, I already have extra officers patrolling to end this before it becomes a major problem.
White: Finally any comment on the recent mass shooting?
Serpico: Investigations are taking place, we refuse to rule out any suspects at this point in time, there will be no stone unturned, no lead unfollowed, we will catch the perpetrators and we will bring them to Justice

Pretty sure they were..... Munich Putsch 1923 and from there on violence. Not really sure there was a point where they werent violent.
There was no call for SPA members to protest or take any action whatsoever, Debs isnt the guy who would make millions (I have no idea how big the membership would be) take to the streets and protest or attack random communists? The Guy is still remembered as a very successful and charismatic leader.
