String of Suicide Bombings, 200+ Dead, Mormon Group Proclaims Responsibility!
Today, a string of eight suicide bombings occurred in major cities across the Union of States, killing more than 200, and injuring over a thousand. The first attack occurred near the mayor's residence in New York City at 9:15 AM, where a man in a bomb vest blew himself up, killing at least fifty-seven people. Over the next few hours, similar attacks occurred in (listed in chronological order) San Francisco, Denver, Chicago, Houston, Toronto, New Orleans, and the unfinished community of Browderville. All targeted government buildings, officials say. In addition to the loss of human life, property damage was extensive; officials estimate that not only would damages "reach into the millions," the completion of Browderville would be set back by around two months.

Immediately after the Browderville bombing, a video was released by the Mormon terrorist group and guerrilla army The Base**, where its leader Francisco Kingston Tarantino (a former glassblower from Newark) claimed responsibility for the attacks. "These attacks," Kinghorn said in the video, "though they seem horrible, pale in comparison to the horrors that Browder and his ilk have committed...We started our struggle fearing that the Communists might be a threat to our religion, that they would destroy us for practicing our faith like the government did many times in the last century. However, over the course of these intervening years, we realize that they are not just a threat to religion, but to all of humanity. We fight in the name of those slain, whether they be Mormon or not, black or white, men or women...So come get us, Browder! We have been fighting you and your men for six years now, and you haven't made a dent in our capabilities! We know the terrain, the mountains, the nooks and crannies...the people here in Utah support us...You'll be facing a tough time defeating us. I wish you good luck."
Unsurprisingly, the Browder administration retaliated in kind. "We do not tolerate such affronts to security, peace, and happiness, such acts that amount to premeditated murder," Browder said in an address two hours after the Browderville bombing. "The American people need not to live in the shadow of these groups. We will expend all our resources in order to fight these Mormon terrorists, as well as their allies from their home base in Utah and from around the world. We will work hard, in order to expunge evils like them from the world."
Immediately, Browder declared a state of emergency and placed the nation under martial law. In particular, he sent military troops to all communities with populations greater than 25,000, for security and surveillance purposes. Browder also consulted with his military advisors on enacting a sustained bombing campaign against The Base, as well as sending in special forces in order to find and assassinate Kinghorn. He also requested other nations to freeze all assets owned by The Base stored overseas, and work against both The Base itself and other groups (mostly religious groups) that support it internationally.
