Fallout: Tame The Wastes

Yeah it is not technically dead, the problem lies with a fan a couple inches in diameter that got crudded up and doesn't spin anymore... a best I will hopefully get a new fan from the manufacturer and pop it in, three screws and a cable plug.

Hopefully it'll be an easy fix. A quick fix.

Just curious. I have no interface and control-I doesn't bring it up. I can play for example by using hotkeys, but only because I know them. Is this correct or is something wrong in my game?

Edit: when I click BUG Mod options, I get an empty window that cannot be closed, so that's bad. Must be something wrong.

where do you have the game installed, and are you running the game as administrator?

These BUG issues should disappear with the next version as we have changed our base UI code.

Game installed at:
C:\Program Files (x86)\2K Games\Firaxis Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 4 Complete\Beyond the Sword\Mods

However, checking the Run as Adminstrator checkbox worked!
 
Sorry this took so long. updated heads finally takes up more than 10 MB condensed so I had to split it into two files. The second has the Art file and the first has everything else. Same as usual the hierarchy is all correct so it should be a simple paste over as long as none of the XML files it edits were changed since the last release.
 
I just added a green toxic sludge to the look of the coasts, so they look far less inviting now, however I am having trouble applying the same effect to the rivers..

hooray! Jusst found the right file to change the rivers as well, now everything looks much more toxic and unhealthy.. none of that ugly fresh clean blue water nonsense.

Looks like the overlord is back in action and development continues. However nothing happens to the git server :(

I started talking about the git server because I had lost track of what was the newest version. However git doesn't really fix that problem because the lack of updates mean I'm just as confused about the newest version as I was before I set it up. If I am to fix the problem we talked about a while ago, I really need to gain easy access to the newest version and know it's the newest version.

Also what was the problem we talked about? So much have happened since I started setting up the server that I have forgotten. Even if I don't remember, I do remember some other issues, such as ensuring settlers starting on vaults (the current attempt is buggy).

Also if I always have access to the newest version, it would allow me to just code something right away based on what goes on in this thread. It's not unusual that there is a talk about something and then coding a solution appears to be easier than putting the feature into the code because it isn't clear where the code is.

I was waiting for an answer to the question I asked you a little while ago, about whether I had sent you the latest version of the mod, with the Platy UI merged?

I am just uploading my latest version to media fire, then I will post a link for you to be able to add it and that will be my absolute latest version worts and all.

I will get on to being git savvy eventually. At the moment I am only doing xml fiddle and a few art files, so it is nothing that really effects the game code. I am 99.9% certain that you have the latest version of the game core though, as I haven't touched that in a while. I THINK...

I should have the link up after dinner. Anyone is welcome to pinch it and have a play and a look, but it is not a finished version, so you have been warned. :D

I was waiting for an answer to the question I asked you a little while ago, about whether I had sent you the latest version of the mod, with the Platy UI merged?
You sent me alpha 5 and I added that to git. You did give me some UI stuff, but I haven't added it or even looked at it. You then said you changed something afterwards and I figured that you will figure out what UI stuff to add.
 
ok, so I don't think I sent you the merged version.

Well anyway, that link is to the latest version with platy UI merged (although not 100% functional but it doesn't seem to break.)

and you have the game core from when I sent that, that is unchanged.

I can't remember whether that alpha5 had the UI in or not, I think it was the pre UI version I sent to catachan so he could playtest.

let me know when you are squared away on that NIght, then I can start talking about what is and isn't right with the apocalyptic world.
