This is the plan that a proposed.
We can make a Noble Republic, like Poland but more democratic. The Emperor is the President. We could maintain the Grafts System, but with another name. We would have a parliament and we would vote on it. The civcs would be the republican civics, but the name would be Russian Empire.
The Emperor would be Alexander II, because of the Duma reforms.

Lies! The king has some power and can turn us into a absolute monarchy. And who elects this king? How is this a democracy when the person in power might be unpopular with the people AND he/she wasn't elected? And that person which leads us can be the elected president.

OOC: Please OOC that. I don't think England has a limited monarchy in the game
Republic+Vassalage, Russia would be in the mercy of city-thirsty grafs ruining economy completely, desiring to conquer all other cities and colonise. In case of military emergencies, grafs would want the russian army to commit suicide just for a temporary victory that would lead to complete destruction of russian army.
Even Alexander would never accept such a system. Central authority should be strong, and of course stronger than grafs.
Moreover, Nikolas and republicans would not allow a new claimant to rise.
Shouldn't the tsar vote no on abdication?
I thought to roleplay as all three leaders Alexander, Nikolas and president Lvov, but then what would be my title and avatar? So I don't roleplay for the moment.
