*Wilhelm Borys

Christian One Russia Party: 1

Progressive-Democratic Party: 5
*Feodor Suvorov
*Gridor Rusan
*Mishka Noobelev

Invalid: 1

OOC: Fugitives cannot be members of Duma, obviously.

HIGH PARTICIPATION IN ELECTIONS
Most russian citizents participated in elections. It is the highest participation percentage of all ages.

PHILOTSAR MESSAGES IN INVALID BALLOTS
Some citizents wrote messages supporting the Tsar. One of them even proposed him to form his own government!

MISCOUNTED VOTES
Counters from populist party questioned the results. The counting body recounted the votes. Populist party had more votes.

NEW DUMA COMPOSITION
*Feodor Suvorov
*Gridor Rusan
*Grigoryevich Orlov
*Leo Dostoyevsky
*Mishka Noobelev
*Wilhelm Borys

GRIDOR RUSAN APPOINTED PRIME MINISTER
For first time in duma history the two major parties have equal number of seats in Duma. Tsar asserts his authority and breaks the tie. He choses Gridor Rusan as the new prime minister of Russia.

Why one of our votes is invalid? The fugitive can vote, but can't be part of duma, and why one of our votes is invalid? Unless you forgot one of our votes, and is saying the vote on the Tsar is the invalid one

Yeah! I call foul on that! We tied the Progressive-Democratic Party! I demand a recount!!

So, if the Tsar says were tied, then either DKVM or the Tsar should vote?

recounting...

Yes you are right. Populist party has 5 votes. This means there is a tie. I break the tie by chosing the progressive-democratic party. Fortunately, no practical difference. Next time I will wait some hours after the result post, before appointing members and government.

I think that what we should do is the two parties should discuss. I am more than willing to compromise with you in prime minister and me as speaker of Duma. We just need to talk. IRL they don't call up people that had invalid ballots to re-vote.

well, i think were tied. Counted twice

OOC: What powers does the speaker have?

In Rusans mind: Yay i won!!!!!! Populists are losers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
But he said: I would also congratulate my opposition.

Although I disapprove of the tsar breaking ties, I congratulate you on your victory. Also, perhaps we should start a precedent that the second-place party's head gets speaker of the house. The precedence would be the same if the populists were to win.

I'll consult it when i can with my party.

OOC: Tsar ,why aren't you answering my question?

I have the same question actually.

OOC: Tsar ,why aren't you answering my question?
OOC:

The only powers I defined are Tsar, Duma and prime-minister. Duma vote bills, prime-minister decides policies. Tsar break ties, ratifies bills and plays the game.

Beyond that point you can create new offices and appoint duties, it's up to you. For example president of Duma was created by DKVM, not me.

OOC: Thanks for the clarification Noob

Borys II: I'm really sorry that the Tsar has to break ties this way, we could have better ways to solve this.

Let's see how this odd alliance between the Progressive Party and the Democratic Party do in this term.

OOC: BTW, W. Borys died from a heartstroke by hearing the news of the broken tie by the Tsar. At leats that's what his son, W. Borys II (I couldn't come with anything better) claims. W. Borys II was already part of the Populist Party (but for gameplay effects I couldn't vote twice so...) and takes his father's position on the party.

OOC: I imagine we have some sort of replacement for a politician if he dies right? I would really not like to lose my position in Duma, but my character has to die because well, he was here since the republican revolution
