A new day has began for South America. The long night of war and brutality and pillage is now over. The Bolivian Empire is no longer. Its desiccated corpse is dead, and the Emperor Guillermo V paid for his genocidal crimes, alongside his family and his generals. Let it stand as an example to all those would-be tyrants, that Liberty's vengeance always comes without mercy, sooner or later.
Of course, there are those amongst you, who do not like this idea. They believe that this is a project of the Argentine "jacobins" or who just do not think that we can keep this union with such a democratic regime, and that only an iron fist can keep the peace. To which I ask: where is Bolivia? Where is America? Russia? Bolivia died a painful death while even as we speak, America's citizens are shooting at each other in a brutal war. All while Russia is burning down Eastern Europe, guaranteeing that no stone is left upon another after their campaign is over. Is this the "iron fist" rule that you want? I do not think this is the choice South America wants to make. We shall do every effort that we shall not follow the path of tyranny that so many other nations have done in the past.
Not that there are no detractors out there in the foreign polities. Indeed, my ambassadors told me that when they read the proclamation in several embassies, they were laughed out of them, telling us that in 3 years, our state will be ravaged by numerous brutal civil wars. I say we show them. Their nations are built upon years and years of oppression, murders and death. Our nation is created by the noble sacrifices of every South American who fought against this evil monarchy.
But we can't just die for it. No, that's not enough. We must LIVE for it! Every single day, we must work to make it greater. Better. If every single one of us, the democrat, the socialist, even the anarchist and imperialist strives towards making our union a more perfect one, there is nothing that can stop us.
With this message, I leave you. The ball is now in your field, citizens of this newly christened state.
