Moved the buttons?

OK, I'm not quite sure how I did it, but twice now i have managed to move the action buttons (fortify, pillage, etc) to the side of the screen. I have been able to remedy the problem by exiting and restarting after i save, but it would be much easier if someone could tell me how to move them back.

IIRC, the *Backspace* key moves them back.
