PTW Tropical Africa 100 x 100

First requested by Kinboat, here are maps of Tropical Africa from Tchad lake to southern Zimbabwe.

Map A : resource-free (for modders or, if you want to play, just randomize resources).

Map B : including accurate local resources (no silk, horses, wine or furs)

Map updated : more forests in Madagascar, a few more Mountains in Ethiopia.

Feel free to use and change this map for your needs.

This map includes resources and a bunch of starting locations but all resources are not there (wine, silk, furs, horses or salpeter), mostly because they should not be there or because they are so widespread I don't really know where to place them (salpeter).
Second, some rules have been tweaked so that some terrains can support accurate resources placement.
Starting locations : rules have not been changed to accept all of them to start at the same time, many are gathered along the Lakes valley, wet, hilly but fertile and healthy area that has some of the highest densities of Black Africa. Since most resources are placed accurately, Northern central countries are poor in minerals whereas the south gathers a lot of resources.

nice but i would have more mountains in Ethiopia, and more jungle and forest in Madagascar.

I played a quick game on it today (as my editor doesn't seem to want to work) and it looks good to me. The only suggestion I would make would be as Yoda Power said... More forests on Madagascar. Other than that it looks like it has a good balance of land and ocean. etc.

Actually that would be Europe + Africa + Middle East (roughly the Ottoman holdings). But not too soon though

Just realized I had not updated this one for Conquests.

Done now.

It includes lots of accurate resources but not all (horses, saltpeter mostly) so if you want to use it, better place these resources yourself along your needs and the position where you think they ought to be.
