Yes indeed. France saved Czechoslovakia, not the UN or the US. Next time you want to make demands of an ally you will have to take initiative yourself or at least contribute more then 5%.
Sorry to say it, but I've got to agree with China Mr. Bush, it seems the American Century is a has-been of the 20'th.

Should the US remain inluential in the European sphere of peace and economic development I suggest you stop estranging your allies.

France did not save Czechoslovakia. France wasn't the only person Premier, are you counting out the sacrifices of the Polish? The Spanish, Italians, British and the resistant fighters in Czechoslovakia itself?

OOC: the 20 ecos weren't supposed to be GIVEN to france, but divided between the participating nations.

I want AT LEAST 2 eco for even bothering to send troops to fight Germany. The reason I'm not getting involved in European affairs as much is because you arrogant Europeans seem to think you can take care of yourselves. Here you are, claiming the USA's period of being a superpower is over, yet you immediately come to the USA for help if anything bad happens in oh-so-perfect Europe?

The Russian Federation is amazed at the hostility the nations have shown to each other and to the statements from certain groups that the UN is dead. We would like to ask all nations to be reasonable and to not spread this quarrel any further. While Russia is opposed to strict sanctions or reparations being placed upon Germany, we do welcome an allied effort to re-stabilize central Europe. Furthermore, Russia expresses its hope that the reason USA sent troops to Germany was to prevent the spread of Nazism, and not for profit, and that USA will not request payment for saving innocent civilians in central Europe from Nazi poression.
 
I did indeed send troops to do my part in preventing Nazism's rebirth, but apparently there is a treaty or resolution or something somewhere in the thread that 20 ecos must be divided between nations that participated in the war. Don't quote me on that though, I need to sift through the thread a little.
 
Russia is in opposition to such a resolution, since the presedent of the Versaille Treaty has shown what such an action would do. We hope that the victorious allied powers will not punish the German people for bad choices made by the few leaders. And we hope the USA will stand in solidarity with us on this oppinion and not take payment for freeing the people, but rather allow Germany to use this money to rebuild a strong and democratic government.

Anyways, I looked through the thread, and apparently France does indeed get all of the eco, and it was just Alex saying that other nations should get a share. But like before, I may be wrong, so don't quote me on it.

The USA temporarily withdraws demands for a share of the eco until further information is gained.

Some say that history repeats itself, and apparantly it does.

I just reseived all the files for this NES from Gelion and will be doing the update within a few days in a new thread. A few rules will be changed to make it easier to Mod, otherwise I would give up like Gelion did. I must point out that I have a very interesting idea of how the would should work and how wars affect it, so I would advise you all not to start massive world-domination wars and instead to focus on spreading the influence of your country.

A very wise idea. Guys the main reason I gave up is due to the rules (I'm anxious to see how things can be simplified) and to the fact that this NES did not go the way I wanted it to go. People started crazy wars, no black projects and few new weapons more interesting than a "best new battle tank". There were ideas of transformers and future soldiers, but apparently people did not really react on the fact that "anything is possible here". In short I give the rights over this game to Storm who will try and make the new world more interesting than it was. I really appreciate all of you joining and hope that you will continue to play in the new thread.

You guys were doing good :). Stormy is a great mod and you are welcome to continue. I will not be playing however cuz I know too much. *kills himself*
