I have being playing with the idea of adding an old stone bridge to one tile of one of the river files (ignore the colour for now).

It would not be functional of course, although it could be postioned so once roads and rails are built it would line up.

What do you think of wider rivers?

EDIT:

Place both files in this folder:

C:\Program Files\Infogrames Interactive\Civilization III\Art\Terrain

Don't forget to back up originals.

Looks pretty good. I Think I prefer regular rivers, though.

BTW, how's it going with the stone bridges?

I think this looks very good. The problem is it would make it even more annoying that I can't sail even a rowboat up the river.
Due to this (and only this), my favorite is the widening of the mouths with the stock river behind it.

The monoliths, steppes and city graphics are part of the Warhammer scenario.

I think that the wider rivers don't look as nice as regular rivers.... but I do like the stone bridges - with correct colour they could look really nice (altough not perhaps correct in the beginning of epic games :lol:

)

Those monoliths are "radio towers" in Warhammer Fantasy 2.0 -mod.

I like the wider rivers. With those u could do like major and minor rivers in mods. That is if u can set it up like that.

I don't use Jokers terrain set, I think I have it somewhere, I will take a look.
