I'd rather have a limit, or itll be too chaotic to set up all these trade routes.

Then a persom could have a trade route with everyone in the world which is pretty messed up. A limit would be better suited.

Romania on verge of collapse as Ceausescu disbands Military

Romania, one of the last surviving Totalitarian Communist nations on the planet, is undergoing some pretty sketchy times. Ceausescu, the dictator of this European Nation, formerly under the wing of the USSR, is growing increasingly insane, say experts around the world. He just announced that the Romanian Military has been disbanded, with most members being brainwashed, indoctrinated, and drafted into the Secrutariate, a quasi-military Security Force under the sole guidance of whom they see as their supreme leader, Ceausescu. Romania is running out of food, however, and its economy, already in shamble, has essentially ground to a halt, mostly due to incompetent officials. Its neighbour, Bulgaria, just emerging from a disastrous collapse of the old Communist Regime, seems like paradise compared to Romania. Citizens in Romania are in Revolution mode, but they are having to battle the heavily armed Secrutariate at every corner. An estimated 10,000 citizens have died under the guns of the Secrutariate, and we can only guess at how many more have been imprisoned and tortured. The country is grinding to a halt, Romanians are starving, and Ceausescu, meanwhile, seems oblivious to it all. He is airing Commercials on the state-owned Romanian Broadcasting Station showing happy Romanians at grocery stores stocked with goods, and happy people going to work in factories, and coming home to happy families. The reality is the complete opposite, but Ceausescu seems oblivious to this. Many expect Germany, Russia, or the USE to come in and stop the suffering, but neither seems to want to get their hands dirty by taking down Ceausescu's evil regime.

Korea disbands its Nuclear Arsenal as Mexico builds up

Korea randomly and unilaterally announced that its Nuclear Arsenal has been totally terminated. Announcing that the “worker's paradise of Korea no longer needs her Nuclear Deterrent”, the Korean Peninsula is officially Nuclear-free, according to Quebec and Colombian observers who inspected the country. Korea refuses to allow any inspectors from non-Communist nations, and only Colombia and Quebec are the 2 Communist nations considered “responsible and honest”, according to sources around the world. In a ceremonial event, leaders from Korea, Russia, China, and Japan signed a document pledging peace and harmony in the region, and it included some veiling references to a future Democratic Korean state, although that will surely be a long ways off. Korea is also slowly but surely opening its doors to trade and tourists, allowing 2 companies in China and Japan to open 4 tourist resorts in the nation, the first of the kind. Tourists initially were not allowed into neighboring towns and cities, but that to is slowly changing, and people now have first-hand views of life in this Stalinist Communist Regime. The Korean Military continues to beef up, but veiled hints have been coming from Korean Officials about slimming that down too.

Mexico announces “Nuclear Deterrent” of 25 Weapons

Mexico, another Stalinist Communist Regime which is closely tied to Korea has announced that it has 25 weapons in its “Strategic Nuclear Deterrent”, conceivably to use if the USA tries to invade Mexico. Mexican-USA relations have soured yet again as a small series of border clashes broke out on the Mexican-American border as Mexican forces crossed the border, trying to chase down some Mexicans defecting to the USA. The American Congress is considering Bills to declare war on Mexico, and to consider the incidences a declaration of war, but Americans mostly are of the opinion that Mexico would be best left to itself, and America should focus on more important things.

Bomb rips plans of Christian Unity to shreds!

This has been a tragic year for Christians everywhere. And of all sects, from Orthodox to the Eastern Oriental to Protestant, Evangelical and Catholic. Their top officials were in what was dubbed the “final meeting” between Christian leaders of all stripes in preparation for the union of Christianity in a major hotel in Rome when tragedy broke. We now know that a 21 year old Turkish man, whose parents had been killed by Christian Extremists in Turkey, decided to exact a terrible revenge on Christian Leaders. He drove a van filled with plastic explosives, TNT, Dynamite, and other explosives into the lobby of the Hotel that the leaders were staying at in Rome, and detonated it, taking down most of the Hotel, and killing the leaders of Christianity. Among the dead is the beloved Roman Catholic Pope, John Paul II, who initiated this whole Christianity United plan. Funerals were held, and the plans for a United Christianity were “put on hold indefinitely”, say deputy leaders. The tragedy and irony of this event is that the leaders were, according to WNN sources, only 1 day away from announcing their final plans for a united Christianity. The Roman Catholics recovered most quickly out of all the sects, quickly burying John Paul,. and, within 2 months, electing a new Pope, one whom will surely cause trouble in USE Politics. The new Pope of the Roman Catholic Church is Giovanni I, or Giovanni de Papadri. He is closed related to an unspecified member of the former Italian Government, which was conquered as Franco, then leader of Spain, made himself a European Empire after 17/62. He has been an outspoken critic of Italy's continued inclusion in the USE, and has long demanded that the USE allow Italy to enjoy the sovereignty that it formerly did. An Italian Separatist is now the Leader of all Roman Catholics, which can be anything but good for the USE. Technically, Pope Giovanni I is supposed to be above politics, but that is highly unlikely. Italy's large Roman Catholic Population is most likely to be influenced by Giovanni I's strong pro-separatism rhetoric, which means a future referendum on Italian Separatism might succeed. Giovanni I is also against the unity of Christiandom, and has been a critic of the former Pope, John Paul II, for giving into the demands from more Liberal churches. It appears that the quest to unite Christianity is dead, and now the question remains is what to do about the grand Cathedral in Bethlehem.

ICJ rules that Italian Referendum “not legitimate”

It was a glorious victory for the USE, and certainly some bureaucrats will be resting easier tonight, as the ICJ ruled that the referendum held in Italy is “not legitimate, in the eyes of the Federal USE Government”. It was not a total victory, however, for the ICJ ruled that the USE Federal Government “must quickly enact a means for member nations to exit from the Union, if they so desire”, and that “the USE Government must be obliged to act according to the wishes of the Italian people” in any future referendum. The verdict implies that a Russian was most likely one of the Justices on the panel. The USE Parliament has yet to enact a measure to allow Member Nations to peacefully separate, but it will most likely do so soon.

Albanians demand Greece hold new elections as Greek Officials stall

Albanians, whose nation was conquered by Greece just last year, are holding their first series of legal protests, demanding that officials quit stalling, and hold new elections immediately. Greek Officials, citing “procedural technical difficulties” have been holding off from holding new elections, and this is not sitting well with many former Albanians. If the situation doesn't change soon, Albanians might take more action then just protests. It is expected that Greek Officials are stalling in hopes of eroding support for the Albanian Communist Party, which recently formed.

Mindanao-Filipino crisis over Nuclear Weapons starts

It was all started by the Philippines. Their satellites detected a “suspicious facility” in Mindanao, one that looked, and looks, a lot like one that could produce Nuclear Weapons. The Philippines then demanded that Mindanao allow them entry into the country to inspect the facility, but Mindanao refused, denouncing the claims by their former masters as “ridiculous”, and “pure fiction”. Things escalated, as the Philippines announced that they were prepared to invade unless they could send inspectors. Mindanao stated that the facility was to prepare ingredients for future planned Nuclear Power Facilities, and that is all, but the Philippines was anything but convinced. Mindanao allowed inspectors from Pakistan, Iraq, and Russia to inspect the site, and they all stated that it indeed was for peaceful power production, but the Philippines was, and is, still not convinced. It has escalated to the point where both Mindanao and the Philippines are mobilizing their armies, and the situation threatens to deteriorate further, as fresh stories emerge of Christians being evicted from Mindanao, another sore point, in return for Muslims returning from the Philippines. Filipinos have been protesting the move, and demanding it be stopped, but the Mindanao Courts which are allowing the evictions are making no apologies. Their statements have consistently sided with the Muslims. Malaysian efforts to negotiate a peace are going nowhere, and Pakistan, Iraq and Iran have already said that they will support their “Muslim Brothers in Mindanao against the Christians from the Philippines”. The newly formed Arab League has also been trying to negotiate a peace, but it is still too new to have much effect. Yet another war might be on the way in this part of the world, and the victory is anything but clear in this case.

Arab League formed to replace UIS

Arab Nations have formed the Arab League, which is a radically scaled down version of the UIS. As they continue to rebuild, or, in the case of the UIR and Turkey, deteriorate after the Russian Attack with antimatter weapons, they have formed a new Association, dubbed the Arab league. Headed by Iraq, seen as a moderate modern Islamic Nation, this league is dedicated to improving the standard of living in Islamic States, and its Constitution specifically forbids the League from participating in International Affairs, meaning that the former UIS-Russian situation cannot happen again. The League is currently formed of Pakistan, Iran, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Mindanao, Turkey, the remnants of the UIR, Algeria, and Libya. Other African Nations are refusing to join after remembering the neglect that the UIS gave them. The Arab League is also officially for Democracy as well, and for more Freedoms in member nations, which might cause trouble in the future. This League faces many challenges, chiefly the split between moderate Islam and radical Islam, and rebuilding the shattered UIR, Turkey, and Saudi Arabia.

UIR disintegrates into Civil War!

The UIR has exploded into full-fledged Civil War, as the Cairo Government loses control of parts of Egypt, Lebanon, and Syria has ethnic tensions boil over. The fighting is very bad in Lebanon, and the UIR Military, badly damaged by the Russian antimatter attack, is in no shape to battle rebellions. Syria has declared itself Independent, but that is not recognized by anybody. Israel has “temporarily” taken control, with the approval of the UIR Leadership, of the Suez Canal and the Sinai Peninsula, until the UIR is in a state to govern the Canal again. Russia has complained that its Ships are not being let through as easily as ships from other nations, but has yet to take any action. Russia is still angry with Israel for the Missile Defense Shield which Israel and the Philippines share which took down an estimated 2,000 Russian ICBMs targeted at UIS targets.

Radioactive Effects of antimatter less then originally thought!

Experts are saying that, after studying the areas where the Russian antimatter weapons hit in Turkey and Saudi Arabia, they are announcing that the Radioactive Effects of antimatter are far less then previously though. Apparently most of the radiation leaves through what are being dubbed “neutrinos”, small atomic particles, which means the long-term radioactive effects on those sites should be minimal.

Fusion Breakthrough in USA!

American Officials, brimming with pride, have announced that they have unlocked the enigma to Fusion Power, and are now able to produce large amounts of electricity cheaply. They were being very tight-lipped as to exactly what was the breakthrough, which is understandable, but have announced that Fusion will power America to be as great as it is destined to be. Coal and Oil Fired Generators can now be closed across the Land of the Free and Home of the Brave, which will mean pollution and smog will decrease, as Hydrogen-powered cars become widely available, it means that America will finally be smog-free in some parts of its nation. The American Economy went up one level as a result of this announcement.

Sex Scandal stuns Indians!

In India, there is a controversy brewing, after a taped conversation was broadcast which apparently recorded Indhira Ghandi pleasuring herself with an electronic dildo. She has denied responsibility, but an unnamed source told the WNN that she was doing this in her Executive office, after a meeting with top officials. This scandal has rocked the Government, and come at a bad time for Ghandi, who was riding a wave of popular support after her initiatives to curb poverty were finally paying off. She still enjoys large amounts of support, upwards of 55%, according to some polls, but this scandal has cost her dearly, whether or not she was actually doing what is alleged.

Russia experiencing greatest Nationalistic Upsurge in History

Russians, under their nationalistic leader General Lebed, as he is widely known, is undergoing what historians are calling the greatest Nationalistic Upsurge the world has ever seen. Russians are participating in Military Parades like never before, recalling the glory of the Rodina, the Motherland, and nationalistic Soviet-style advertisements and commercials pledging to make Russia great through collectivism and nationalism, which is reminding Russians of Soviet times. In fact, Russia is moving right, but their Leaders are employing many tactics that the Soviets used. But, this time, Russians re celebrating the new-found nationalism by themselves, spontaneously, and not at the barrel of a gun, like in Soviet Times. The pictures of Russians denouncing Communist Legislators for trying to hold up Lebed's Legislation are real, which is amazing to most of the world. Anti-Americanism is also on the rise in Russia, where it has been simmering for awhile. Russians are still angry with their former leader (OOC – Putin?) who turned over Alaska to the USA without any kind of return for this. Russians have been organizing a Petition, which they hope to get signed by 1 million Russians, to be delivered to Lebed demanding that Alaska be returned to its rightful place, Russia, and to be delivered to the American Congress. Russians are split on the issue of a war to get Alaska back, but the momentum is on the YES side.

Russian Legislation provokes some anger among Russians

President Lebed has been turning Russia into a sort of factory for Nationalism, but, at the same time, he has been slowly but surely consolidating power into his own hands. He legislated a series of reforms, making the President solely responsible for appointing the Prime Minister in the Duma, rather then the main party in the Duma choosing the Prime Minister. He has also, in a controversial move, changed the way Russians elect their Regional Leaders. The Leaders of the Russian Republics, which form the Russian Federation, will now be appointed by the President, and approved by the local Republican Legislatures. Republic Politicians have been up in arms over this proposal, which passed through the Duma after a bit of contentious Debate, but Russians seem in favour of it. They seem to trust Lebed, who has earned the nickname “Uncle Lebed”, or “The General”, to pick their local leaders, who don't actually have that much control. Finally, he stripped power away from the Duma. The President of the Russian Federation now has total control of the Russian Military, which used to be under the control of a Committee composed of Duma Members, usually loyal to the President. The vote which got this Legislation passed was very close, but it passed, and the Russian President is suddenly much more powerful, having control over the biggest army in the world. Former Prime Minister Putin tried to rally the left to oppose these new changes, but the campaign ended as a total defeat, as the right-wing portrayed Putin as a Communist who wanted to take Russia into the road of Totalitarianism. Clearly, the Right is in control of Russia, and looks like it will remain so for awhile. A new force is emerging in Russia, and that is a National-Socialist Party by the name of the Liberal-Democrats, whose support has been slowly building over the years. Will Russia be turned into a National Socialist giant to dwarf Hitler and Droeger's Nazi Germany?

Terrorism Campaign in Muslim Russia escalates

Most Russians might be enjoying a burst of Nationalism, and feeling increasingly patriotic towards the Rodina, but not Muslim Russians, especially in the Muslim-dominated Central Asian Republics. A small-scale Insurgency is being carried out in those regions, in fact, and it is growing into a threat for the stability of the region. Radical Muslims, convinced Lebed in particular, and the Russian Government in general, are the source of all evil, and represent the Devil, have started demanding Independence for the Muslim-dominated areas of Russia, and are blowing up Government Buildings, shooting Russian Troops, and generally raising as much hell as they can to do it. This comes amid growing antipathy by Muslims in those Republics toward Russia. They generally are considered Reformists, and quite Liberal, and do not like Lebed's and other Leaders speeches of Nationalism. The major issue that has been causing them, and some Western Russian Republics to be up in arms is the fact that they cannot choose their own President of the Republic (OOC – Or whatever the title is), they can only elect Legislators to approve or disapprove of whom Lebed chooses. This might cause a problem for Lebed, as Lebed might choose some more right-wing, more Hardline Muslims, who generally agree with the Nationalistic Tendencies in Russia, but that would obviously not be acceptable to the mostly Reform-minded Muslims in Russia. This situation might prove to be a headache for Lebed.

Russian Army crushes Afghan Warlords!

The Russian Army, well, mostly Russian Special Forces and then Regular Troops, have gone into Afghanistan, and crushed the Warlords who have come out of hiding after the UIS crumbled. The Russians nicely trampled over most of the poorly armed Private Armies of the Warlords, killing them unmercifully with Russia's advanced Arsenal of Supersonic Planes, Helicopter Gunships, and elite Troops. Russian Troops especially went after the Afghanistan Poppy Fields, Napalming all that they could find. The Afghani King Shah is still nominally in charge of Afghanistan, but most regard him as a Puppet to the Russians. Afghanistan is the most war torn and heavily mined nation in the world, and a whole generation of Afganis have known little but war. Most Experts say that Russia should ensure that Afghanistan is safe and secure before leaving, but that might take up to 10 years. A fairly vicious anti-Russian Guerrilla War has broken out, with rebels using the many Caves in Afghanistan to attack the Russians, but Russia, having experience with this kind of warfare, are doing fairly well to keep them at bay. No word on whether Russia will help Afghanistan rebuild, or whether they will leave, and let the King try and rule his mostly shattered nation.

Russia, USE, USA, Germany romp around in Indonesia!

The Indonesia of today and the Indonesia of 5 months ago are completely different. As in complete opposites. It all happened when the dispute of Timor was raging, when Indonesian Forces crushed the USE and CU forces on this small island. The USE demanded that Russia talk to Indonesia to return Indonesia, and, well, Russia didn't, and Indonesia refused to give it back. Then Suharto, the despot of Indonesia, seeing how he was backed by the Russians over Timor, decided to trust the Russians, and massed his Army and Navy near Papua New Guinea. About 100 of his troops actually touched down on a PNG Beach, and his Air Forces were starting to come in contact with SEAR Air Forces when all hell broke loose. Russia tried to take out Suharto, overthrow his Regime, ostensibly to install a Democratic Regime. Well, it worked fine, Russian Elite Troops stormed Suharto's office, took Suharto captive, and then issued directives to the Indonesian Army that Suharto was dead, and they should surrender. However, it was not Suharto whom was captured, it was one of his Body Doubles. Suharto was overseeing the operations against the SEAR, which ended as soon as Suharto heard about the backstabbing by the Russians. Russian Soldiers were taking control of key Indonesian Cities, fighting Indonesian Police and Civilians loyal to Suharto when the Indonesian Army returned, and all hell broke loose. The WNN really has no idea who is in control of what. We know that the major battles between Russian and Indonesian Forces are occurring on Sumatra and Celebes, and we suspect that the Russians, with their better training, will win, but it will not be clean. Russia will lose many soldiers to the much bigger Indonesian Army. We also know that various ethnic tensions have boiled over, and that some parts of Indonesia have seen people brutalized by Suharto trying to rise up. Aceh has declared itself Independent, and there is scattered fighting in other regions of this large Island Nation. Then things just got worse, when the USE, USA, and Germany showed up. They took control of some islands around Indonesia, with no real explanation given. Russian and Indonesian Forces were too locked in combat to really do anything about it, so the USE, USA, and Germany are de facto in control of some small Indonesian Islands. Most suspect that the USE had organized a fleet to come and take down Suharto, but had come instead to find Russians battling the Indonesians. The situation is grim, and the future for Indonesia is very uncertain. Some think a multinational peacekeeping effort would help, with elections to be held in Indonesia for a Democratic Government, but, whatever the case, Suharto, his Army, and his Supporters need to be crushed first. In the SEAR, also supposedly a Russian ally, where Russian troops are stationed, there is growing anger and resentment towards Russia after it was learned that Russia used Suharto's near invasion of PNG as an excuse to try and liberate it from Suharto. SEARans feel that Russia used them to try and take down Suharto, and they aren't happy about that.

American-occupied AF States improve as Russia's stagnate


Of the Former AF States, the once might vast African Nation which is a shadow of its former self, the American-occupied regions, being Rwanda, Congo, Angola and Gabon, are improving steadily, all having fairly stable Democratic Governments, modern Constitutions, decently-sized Militaries, and growing economies. The American';s Dream of self-sufficient nations in Africa is coming to light, after the Americans liberated them, and pumped billions into make them effective nations. The Americans have also “liberated” Namibia and Botswana from AF control, well, mostly marched right in, since the remnants of the AF lacked control over them anyway, and have begun to Democratize these 2 parts of the former AF as well. The Russian-controlled areas of the former AF are not faring nearly as well, however. Russian Troops are being treated with growing hostility, and Russians have not been invested like the Americans have, or trying to set up Democratic Governments.

Indian-led Coalition rids world of Pinochet!

General Augusto Pinochet, dictator of Chile, has been toppled in an Indian-led invasion that took out his despotic Government. Argentina had been preparing to take him out, but it was revealed that he had a secret nuclear Arsenal. Argentina managed to locate it, destroy it, and then the invasion begun. One of the largest Air strikes in the world virtually demobilized the country, bombing strategic Military Sites, and Bridges and Roads. Then the combined Indian-Bolivian-Venezuelan-Paraguayan-Argentinian Military moved in and took down Pinochet's regime and his Army. They stopped the slaughter of the southern Mapuche minority, who are claiming Independence after the brutal slaughter that was inflicted upon them. The liberating forces found virtual Death Camps set up, reminiscent of Nazi Germany's Camps, and Mass Graves are being uncovered. Estimates of the Dead range from 150,000 to 400,000. 51,000 bodies have been recovered. Pinochet and his top Commanders were captured alive, and, after a 3 month Trial at the ICJ, all were found guilty of a long list of Crimes and died by the Firing Squad.

Bulgaria finally holds Successful election!

The former Communist nation of Bulgaria has finally held a successful Election. It now has a legitimate Government, after months of wrangling, and corrupt election after corrupt election. The victorious party, the Popular Election Party (PEP), is a centrist party, and has started Economic and Military Reforms to revive the stagnant economy of Bulgaria, and to regain control of the sectors in which Greek and Russian troops left. USE troops remain, but only because Bulgar Forces are not sufficient to retain control over the entire country. The country's economy is finally improving, and Volunteers have started to form that will probably be enlisted into the Bulgarian Army, which needs to be improved.

China's economy could reach 30 eco/turn: Economists

China has the biggest economy in the world, and rakes in more then any other nation in the world in profits, a staggering 23 eco/turn, as the Chinese economy grows yet again with the continuing Modernization Revolution, as it is being dubbed, occurring in China. Chinese are earning more money, their standard of living, especially in the Interior, is going up, and China is just generally becoming a better nation to live in. China has also just completed another massive Solar Plant in the Gobi Desert, which means it now has another huge source of power, and can close down polluting Coal and Oil fired Generators. China's dependence on Oil, which has been growing slowly, has now plateaued, as Oil fired Generators can be closed, and Hydrogen-powered Cars replace inefficient Oil-run Cars. China, which is also increasing the size of its Military, is showing the world that the Chinese Dragon, and not the Russian Bear, might someday be shaping and changing the future.

Germany prospers as Rebellions put down in Sweden, Austria!

The new, larger, more powerful German nation is prospering, under the steady hand of Droeger. The rebellions in Sweden and Austria have ended, and law and order have returned to all parts of the new, bigger, German Empire. But not all is totally calm, many in the new conquered territories are starting to demand that they have a part in the Federal Government, much like th USE, and that might erode Droger's power in his nation. Droeger, who prides himself and his neo-Nazi Heritage Party as being modern, Democratic, and welcoming of different religions, especially Jews, and different skin colours, might be faced with his greatest challenge – to make Germany truly Democratic, or to maintain his current level of power?

Japan encourages more Children as its Population continues to shrink

Japan today has implemented a series of reforms designed to encourage its families to have more children, including decreased taxes for the more children the family has. The changes have yet to have much effect, as the Japanese Population continues to shrink, and grow older, 2 factors which are not really good in the long run. Real Estate costs are decreasing, but not in a good way. They are only decreasing because the population is shrinking. Japan still has its work cut out to fix the problems it has with its population.

Indian Economy grows as Reforms have effect

The Reforms that Indhira Ghandi has been implementing in India are beginning to have an effect. The Indian Economy is starting to, like the Chinese one, take off. The Indian Elephant is several years behind the Chinese Dragon in building its economy might, and alleviating poverty, but Ghandi, regarded as a Saint by many Indians, despite the Sex Scandal, seems to be the Women to solve that. But it is in the International Stage where India seems to be overpowering China. India has taken a coalition into a very Successful overthrow of the regime of the Chilean Despot Augusto Pinochet, regarded as one of the more Successful invasions of our time. China is still a very isolationist nation. It has a good-sized Military, but it rarely uses it or its Diplomatic might on the world stage. It is close allies with Russia, but acts like a servant at time to Russia. India is definitely not a servant to anyone, nobody can justifiably claim that.

Yugoslavia announces that it can clone Land Animals!


Yugoslavia has announced that it, after years of research and billions spent on this project, can clone an animal! It showed WNN Reporters an exclusive look inside their top secret facility, and then showed up some creatures that it has cloned. Thus far, they have successfully cloned a Sheep, Lamb, Cat and Dog. The WNN has learned, however,m that the failure rate for Clones is high, and most die young and fast. Yugoslavia is expected to be working on a solution.

Yugoslavia has launched the world into a very exciting new stage – the era of Networking Computers. CU Proposal for new Union draws criticism, Ire from New Zealanders

The CU Proposal from the Union Government to include the Colonies of the CU into the CU, and allowing all of them 20% of the vote has raised deep criticisms in New Zealand. The sticking point is that this proposal would allow the former Colonies, made up of black Africans and Arabs, 80% of the seats in the CU Parliament. New Zealanders, who make up most of the population of this nation, are angry about that, and are refusing to vote YES for the proposal, and kill it, if this remains. A more acceptable change might be that the different regions of this new nation might elect Legislators depending on their Population. Experts agree that might be more acceptable. Currently, the CU Opposition is filibustering the proposal in the House of Commons, and delaying its passing. The Union Government has enough votes to force through the 20% solution, but it would more then likely be defeated by the New Zealanders.

CU Completes Moon Base!

In other CU News, the CU has joined the world's nations on the Moon, erecting its own Moon Base. Its Moon Base is somewhat small, but can be expanded. The Moon is starting to seem a bit crowded with all these bases.

USE liberates PRA, Mali, rebuilds

The USE, after overthrowing the PRA Communist Regime, is now setting about the task of rebuilding the country, ensuring that it is Democratic, and then leaving it. Taking a page from the USA's Liberation of the former AF, they are spending money like it is Christmas, improving infrastructure, while fighting the few remaining forces resisting the USE Forces. Africans in this nation were initially worried that the USE Forces would be like the Spanish who so inflicting harm upon them, but these fears have been alleviated, as the USE managed to convince the Africans that they were there to liberate them, and then leave. It seems that the USE has done its part to help Africa, and its legacy might help the Continent.

ROMANIA

The Russian Federation expresses its hopes that Germany has not forgotten the agreement made with the Russian Federation and that the USE will refrain from taking any military action so close to the Russian Federation as it may be seen as a provocation and the relations between the two nations are bad enough after the Indonesian crisis.

KOREA AND MEXICO

The Russian Federation is glad that Korea has chosen to reduce its nuclear arsenal and will abide by the treaty signed agreed to. We also express hope that a simular treaty may be worked out between Russia, USA and Mexico if Mexico is willing.

ISRAEL

Israel, on top of destroying Russian property and refusing to pay has chosen to slow down Russian naval traffic through the Suez Canal. These hostile actions by Israel will not be tolerated and the Russian Federation will be withdrawing its personel from Israel shortly.

TERRORIST CAMPAIGN IN RUSSIA

Since the majority of the population in Central Asian Republics are Russians in the North and Altai in the South, and since there are very few areas where Islam is the religion of the Majority these insurgencies will be put down. No terrorist activity will be tolerated.

INDONESIA

The Russian Federation will restore order to Indonesia. USE, CU, and Germany will hand over the islands that they have illeagaly occupied to the New Indonesian Government and will withdraw their troops from there that have illeagally taken control of these lands. India has expressed a desire to send troops to Indonesia and we assure the Indian government that it will not be necessary nor will it be a welcomed move. The conflict will be resolved within a few months by the Russian military.

Why are you picking on us? Israel and the Philippines have joint ownership over our Joint Missile Shield, it is as much their fault as ours that we "destroyed your property", as you put it wrongly. Furthermore, Israel has done nothing to stop the flow of traffic through the Suez. We took control of it temperorily because we were asked to by the UIR. We do not want ownership of it, it is not ours. We are maintaining the UIR Policy regarding the Canal, if Russian ships are being discriminated against, it is because of the UIR's set Policy, not Israel's.

We support the cuase of intependence for the people of Atej, and the CU and USE will continue to jointly own the entire island of Timor, at least until the civil war in Indonesia has come to an end.

As for Israel, any hostile acts against them will be seen as an act of war against the USE and its allies.

As for Romania, we would much prefer to engage in a joint operation with the Russian Federation to make sure that Russia institutes a democracy for the people of Romania.

We assure you that after the recent USE critisizm of Russia no USE help is needed by the Russian Federation, we are rather capable of doing what needs to be done.

Any Indian troops entering Indonesia will be considered hostile and will be engaged by the Russian troops, if India wants to escalate teh conflict and provoke a war it may go ahead and do so. The fate of Atej will be determined after peace has been secured in the Region, not before.
