Backing up the Hall of Fame

In my previous Civ games I always backed up my Hall or Fames. I have not figured out how to do that with Civ IV. Any help would be appreciated.
 
This forum is about the CFC Hall of Fame, which will open soon, not about personal HOF's.

That's exactly where it is based. I just tested; go to the following location on your machines:

x:\Documents and Settings\<PROFILE NAME>\My Documents\My Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 4\Replays

Note: Substitute x:\ for the drive [civ4] is installed on, on your machine.

You'll see various files named something like this: Sadan01_AD-2026_0.Civ4Replay

Of course, the first part of the file will be the name of your player, the second part, the year it was finished and saved naturally, and the 0 before the .civReplay is the order the files were created (I think).

Move these files out of this folder or delete them and the next time you enter Civ4, check the HoF. It should be empty or at the very least, the files you moved or deleted should be gone from the list.
