Hi everyone.

This is my first proper thread so please just bear with me:p

These maps are based on the Warhammer fantasy world, filled with Orcs, Goblins, Elves, Humans, Undead and even Lizardmen. The rules have been drastically changed and are therefore only opperational with Embreodead's original Warhammer Mod, as well as Mr. Do's expansion mods.

Go to post 7 of this thread for screenies.

Download them all here:

I have tried to make the world as exact as i can, but im not too sure about resources and what-not. So and ideas and creative criticism are welcome.

There are 2 maps in the attachment. one is the original whole world map, the other is a map which has the 'Asia' and 'South America' equivilants cut out to increse space. (take a look at the maps and youll *hopefully* understand);)

*EDIT* :I will probably be adding more edited versions of the maps. but i may just leave the older ones, incase some of the changes i make to them are not good, or if some people like them or not.

1.1 Changes to Zoomed Map only:
-Lizard start location moves to Lustria.
-Orks and Gobbos added to Southlands.
-Chaos watses linked to Old World via VERY narrow land bridge. (not so sure --about this one.)
-some minor resource replacements.

1.2 Future changes to both maps (not done yet)

-move some reasorces around Westerland starting point to increase food and production.
- add some strategic resources to Southlands (African like continent) ie horses

*sigh* i wrote this all out before but i accidently deleated the post:mad:

ill try again...

I dont know how to take screen shots... could you tell me how or post some for me??

About the Lizards: The Lizards location is a bit of an experiment. Their geographical start location is not on the zoomed map, plus i noticed that there was Lizard and OldOne ruins in the south lands, so i thought "what the hey?". if i were to put the Lizards in Lustria, they would start either quite close to the edge of the map (which i personally HATE) or close to the Amazons. i think i will move the start location though, (just for you stormrage, i know how you love the lizards;) )

Orks and gobbos: geographical start locations in western mountains of the chaos dwarf desert, you can immagin how badly they would do there...capital in desert and mountains, not terribly good. I was toying with the idea of putting them both in the Southlands instead of the lizards but gave up that idea. thinking i may change my mind though.

As for the chaos: My thoughts on this was quite little, (if you hadn't noticed), i dont particularly like running into the chaos to soon, and i normally play as races from the old world. But i see your point. putting a land route to the old world would certainly make the game a bit more historically correct, what with the chaos ravagins of Kisle's northern boarders and such (i think it was the kislevites, or was it Norse...)

I think thats all for now. ill make those changes and post it again.

Well, I haven`t had much time to play Civ, and alot of people are a bit buisy this time of year, be patient :)

Love the new avatar though.

One thing I noticed, there should be more Gromril or whats-its-name resource near the dwarven starting point, IMO.

Hmmm...Gromril...mmm now that i think about it, i dont think ive put very much of the resource in at all, ill go add some more now, Thanks for picking that up Stormrage.

(PS. im not too good at being patient, it makes my head hurt ;) )

I think the maps are good. However school + Girlfriend mean i havent had time to realy play properly yet:mischief:.
I'll tell ya what i think when i have more time.
Keep up the good work:goodjob:.

Awesome map!!!!!!
Very good, however as you cant build roads on high mountains all the resources at the very top of your map are unreachable and I had some difficulties with resources but I think that might be my fault....

I also like the way you have limited the routs out of the old world, I was most impressed.

I've already posted this on the WH expansion thread, but an updated version of your map should be here (primary). Anyway.

"I noticed that Psychic Llamashas made a couple of exceptional maps for Warhammer. But unfortunately, due to rule changes since 2.16 patch, they won't work correctly with 2.20 because most resources will disappear from the map. I desperately wanted to use one of these maps, so I updated the large one accordingly. This will do the trick, and I think I saved Psychic Llamas' time.

Get it here

I've already included the 2.20 rules. Hopefully it will also be compatible with 2.50 (it will be if there won't be any resource changes)."
