Ultimate Mod (Preview)

One advice: before starting to mod, design a lot of things on paper / Excel / Visio...
You need a good tech tree, a list of units...
And you also need to organize your modding effort, and do things in the right order.
And if you plan to add many units, you also need to think of a good way to do it efficiently.

Could you please elaborate on this ? I have lots of units to add too :sad: (but not as many as you added:)).
 
Sorry about the threadjack.

Nope - no flavour units. Most new units are produced by wonders (like the Hajudks;)).
When i think of how much i have to add i just delay it over and over ... :( (i don't have that many to add (50 tops) but i dunno why this drains me like this:().
 
Because it can be long an boring.... When I added the Aircraft carrier for example, I have 3 main upgrades (WWII carrier, Cold war carrier, modern carrier). With a flavour for every civ, and a version with resources, another without. So it's means 120 units to add... With a minimum of organization, it's not something you really want to start. Even with a good organization it can be difficult.

Actually, I have a bit more, as some civ have extra carriers as bonus.
However, a lot of the units share the same graphics for the moment, even if they don't have the same names, and possibly the same stats.
