I'm happy to give you the info you requested, however in one of my discussions with donsig he alluded to lessons learned from our conflict, so they might have modified their M.O.
Our war-mongers have a few questions for you guys about your previous engagement with TNT....
1. When they attack, how do they attack?
They usually came down with immo's in groups of 2 or 3, however when that failed they built some horse to counter our MW's which crushed one of our attacks. With their main attack they used the horses to draw out our MW's before trying to use their immos against us
1a. When they campaign, do they like deception or come right at you?
no deception, all their attacks were head on (remember they were very confident in their immos), but they would have learnt a few lessons from Robi D's school of counter attack combat
1b. When they attack do they use combined arms or concentrate on one type of unit, (i.e. immortal)?
Just immos to start with, and after we smacked them about, horses and immos, which i also smacked around. When it occured to them that we might have the upper hand and MIA "gifts" they seemed to solely focus on pikes, which they seemed to continue after our peace treaty, so i doubt they have much else, since most of their immos/horses were killed
2. How many units will they use in defense of a city?
when we were at war none or one (over confident) but they were sending lots of pikes to their southern cities at the end. i would say currently they are retracting to their main block of cities which would be easier to defend and nullify the extra MP of the gallics
3. Can we get an idea where their frontier with TNT is roughly located? halfway through the jungle? 3 tiles north of the jungle?
basically from there costal cities in the north which you can see, roughly straight down in a rectangle to the middle of the jungle
Also if you could, give us a brief history of your war with them.
one of their warriors came across one of our borders, we had talks which seemed to be progressing, then they attacked and stole a worker without provocation or warning. It wasn't until some 30 turns later that the proper war began, first they came in groups of 2 or 3 immos, then when that failed they massed their forces and attacked with horses and immos, which we crushed and counter attacked
