When I download patch 1.61, can I continue my saved games?

you can continue old saves, no known problems..

Despite what DG said, I'd advise against it. In general it's not a good idea, for any software.

oops I just did...and it seems to work really well apart from the fact that the deforestation was nerfed at a tender moment in my current game.

Did anybody else get a year change? I had an epic game at 1812 that reloaded (post-patch) and was at 1836. I'm assuming the turn pacing changed.

Other than that, no problems noticed with the load.

When I download patch 1.61, can I continue my saved games?
