[ADD-ON] GIRs Sevomod Add-On

Man, Its working pretty fine in my PC by the way GIR said! It even fixed all stuff that supposed to fix in patch d and so on!

i said its not a perfect solution, if you can wait another two days i will release a new version of the mod add-on.
but you should be able to play without the python tech leak error messages...
 
Installed latest Sevomod and patch-3.2d. Then installed GIRs addon-latest patch on this thread. When I load the game, it crashes, saying that various files are missing,memory low etc..... Any suggestions...

Intall in that order:

sevomod3.2 --> d-patch --> add-on --> sevomod.py file from d-patch zip
 
I just loaded the 3.2a GIR add-on on top of Sevomod 3.2d. I followed the recommendation from GIR to copy over the Sevomod.py file also. The game works fine in singleplayer. Does anyone know if this will work in a MP hotseat game?

Also, is there a version of the Keldath 5UU mod that I could load on top on Sevomod 3.2d and GIR's add-on 3.2a? I have never used Keldath's mod, but it sounds great. In fact, I just loaded GIR's mod last night and was amazed of the amount of content. Sevomod and GIR's add-on make this game even more incredible. I can't believe I have been missing out on GIR's add-on. While I'm at it, I might as well ask everyone if there is any other MOD that I may be missing out on to enhance Sevomod even more? For now, I will play with Sevomod and GIR's add-on and love it!

Patched it up as you said and it just freezes and then CTD in the first 20 or so turns-randomly. Also, how do you clear your cache because I keep getting Sticky-Keys turned on by pressing shift, and I still keep getting error messages on loading the game saying that various files are missing, faulting module, something romestrausen?? etc....
Had no problems with last sevomod patch with last GirsAddon. Any help?
 
Keldath, thanks so much for your reply! I am able to play GIR's add-on with Sevomod 3.2D already. Maybe your new version will work too. I think you should release it now! OK, sorry, I'm just a little excited to try it.

GIR, any idea as to when your new patch will be out for Sevomod 3.2D? I hate to ask, but I'm so excited about playing this game again because of you, Keldath and Sevo.
 
Are the Wonder videos a couple of pages back included in the latest GIR Add-on 3.2/3.2a? I tried to download them but the links aren't working. Any info would be appreciated.

- Tallest Building only gives +15% Culture (was 100% - balancing issue)
- add different Era and Ethnic Palace Buildings (all Palace Buildings by ganart, see Palace Building Pics: Pic1, Pic2; Thread for ganart’s Mod: Here )
- add a Military Academy Building for the Sevomod Great General Building ( Building by ganart, see Pic: Here, Thread: Here )
- add Frigate, Knight, Spearman, Landsknecht Skin (by ganart, see Pics: Pic1, Pic2)
- add a Modern Granary (“Skin”) for Industrial, Modern and Future Era (by Chamaedrys, Thread/Pics: Here)
- add Modern Harbor (“Skin”) for Industrial, Modern and Future Era (by Firaxis, bug fixed by Civilicious, Pic: Pic; Thread: Here)
- add Fusion Plant Wonder ((International) Thermonuclear Experimental Reactor – ITER) (Building by 0d1n3oo3Broad, Pics/Thread: Here)
This wonder provides free Scientists, +4 Trade Routes and 90% of the Research Points of the Fusion Technology (if you already have the Fusion Technology (or more than 10% of the Research Points) you will get 1 Gold for every 10 of the free Research Points)
- add free Units to this Wonders: Art Of Artillery, Raytheon Defense Systems, Lockheed Corporation, Fairchild Republic
- reduce the Chance of Specialist Promotions and Perks gained after Fights
- you will make Peace with every Player (even with the barbarians) if you build the United Nation. (you or the other player still can declare war - its only a one time feature) (this doesn’t work on games with the Always War Option or with the Always War/Peace Option)

And, is it savegame compatible?
 
I've been playing with this MOD loaded on top of Sevomod 3.2D. It has been working great in singleplayer. Last night my brother and I tried loading a Hotseat MP game but it kept crashing to the desktop with the "send error/don't send error" popup window. Is this MOD loaded on top of Sevomod suppose to be multiplayer compatible? I'd love to get this working in hotseat MP format. Any information would be appreciated.

sorry, but i'm not familiar with MP/hotseat games. maybe you should ask keldath, he is the multiplayer/hotseat expert with all kinds of sevomod add-ons. i never played civ4 in multiplayer...
 
Ah, and by the way, now that the Tallest Building only gives +15% Culture (was 100% - balancing issue), I think(as a Cultural player) that you should put it as world wonder and not national, because it is a little bit useless then as national wonder, I prefer to build other things in my 3 cities that goes ofr legendary culture cuz next time somebosy build it, it goes away anyway, and anyway, would be more like real life, cuz the tallest building is of the world and not of the country no? :p

I wasn't able to install the mod, simply because there was an extra parenthesis ) at line 112 of GlobalDefinesAlt.xml (in \Sevomod\Assets\XML).
Just remove it, and you can play!

The problem is likely to come from Sevomod, but I thought it might help to post a bug fix here.

Oh, good point, thx! But I dont think its from sevo cuz Sevo patch D+GIRpatchA runs great here! I didnt instaall that patch yet cuz its no save compatible and Im finisheing a game yet ^^
