dont thank me, thank Civilisation: test of time :D

okay, i'll do them two. just splashes or anything else?
If you would be able to make large and small building icons that correspond to them that would be  .

I've finalized the new wonder splashes. Currently reviewing all changes to make sure I didn't miss anything. Next step will be a limited release to check for obvious bugs I missed, and then a general release. If all goes well, the general release will be at the end of this week.

i just finished my map and playing a game as the gashmorg goblins and as always i have some suggestions :)

1. Change the name of the current orge unit (ED's orge) to hill giant then use the one that comes at the defensive tactics as the one that comes at adv. military tactics then use aaglos irongut at def. tactics
http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=113813

2. I didnt get to the magic age on my game but i noticed that ur useing the same unit for the greater elementals so here is some suggestions
-i dont know about the greater water elemental i was thinking aaglos sea giant but i dont think it would look right http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=50981
-greater earth elemental
http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=115425
-and fire elemental
http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=51428

3. you should use this guy as the goblin raider
http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?threadid=53033

4. Did you know about these units?

i think these units would be perfect as nomad units

:D

I want to keep the stronger barbarian unit as an ogre, but will review the use of the other ogre units.

For the greater elementals, I will be converting elementals from the Infinitum web site.

As for the snotling, I am thinking of using him as the goblin scout.

Regarding the nomad units, I don't mind reviewing the unit lines and make changes as appropriate.

Well, I've waited about a year for others to convert units from here, and have seem maybe 2 or 3 done total. :(

So this week I decided to learn how to do the conversions myself. My current todo list will be:
  • Bugbear Captain
  • Drow Female
  • Drow Male
  • Air Elemental
  • Earth Elemental (IWD Version)
  • Fire Elemental (BG Version)
  • Water Elemental
  • Fire Giant (Either Sword or Hammer)
  • Frost Giant
  • Gnoll Slasher (with Sword)
  • Goblin Berserker
  • Goblin Shaman
  • Goblin Warg Rider
  • Goblin Warg Rider Captain
  • Harmonium
  • Kua-Toa
  • Lizardman with Axe
  • Lizardman with Halberd
  • Lizardman Shaman
  • Mercykiller
  • Neo-Orog
  • Neo-Orog Maurauder
  • Neo-Orog Cheiftain
  • Ogre Mage
  • Orc Shaman
  • Svirfneblin (Pick Axe)
  • Umberhulk (Not sure which version)

When these are completed, I may add more to the list.

nice darque u got my support, do you have to have diablo 2 to convert these units?

and i think that formation? giant would make a nice cave troll

These units don't come from Diablo 2...they come from Baldur's Gate 1 & 2; Icewind Dale 1 & 2; and Planescape. Many are converted for use with Diablo 2...but there are also raw animated gifs available to. To convert to civ3, you would start with those raw animated gifs.

As for trolls, there are a bunch of them in there too.

Yea i saw the trolls but i like the big bad ass troll that u got in the game and i thought that giant looks even more big and even more badder.

so is ther a tutorial to converting units any where?

I'd love to see at least half of those made. And i like conversions; i have no problems with units not being made from scratch (a lot of people do tho ... and they seem to prefer having NO unit rather than having a conversion   )
Any chance you might convert the Mercykiller from Planescape ? Well... i don't exactly need it ... but it is cool. :D Maybe you can find a place for it in your mod. :)

i dont like the way your using the doom driver i think theres really only 2 ways to use it

A: like in warhammer 2.5 where it is an artilary unit with recon

B: or what think will be very interesting use it like a transport helicopter it would transport goblins only not trolls or bugbears

and also i think it would be nice if you would convert the elite goblin axeman off that web site to use as the maurader and i think you should keep the current berserker and maurader for the tang zul goblins and give the new converted units to the warg and gashmorg and the little goblin with a bow on that site would make a nice goblin raider

last thing, i dont know if this is how it is but i think it should be this way
tang zul goblins= cave goblins
gashmorg goblins= forest goblins
warg goblins= plains/mongol goblins
that makes sense to me
