WOW commie. You do know that in most state, the split is something like 60-40% in voting for POTUS. Their are a good many people in the deep south that voted for kerry. The world, or even the south isn't so black or white. Here is a image i found on wiki that shows this

Most of the rasism you speak of happens in dun dun dun... southern California. You know, LA? San Diego? Those also happen to be the more conservative areas of the state.
I live in the Bay Area. Though not to say there is no rasism there, we are a lot more liberal and way different from SoCal, to the point where a split of the state is debated.

Well, I guess you're SOL then, because California is the most economically powerful state in the United States. Us seceeding would hurt YOU more than it would hurt US. CA by itself is the 4th or 5th largest economy in the WORLD, by itself.

Yr just as ignorant as the people you rant about. I live in the south. I'm fairly involved in movements to help the poor, ease race relations etc. and people wouldn't think about killing me (well I'm sure at least not for the kind of work I do at the very least
) you just seem to have this view of the south as a ridiculous breeding ground of ignorance. I'm from new york city, and I like the south more.
