System Profile:
Sirius A, Core Worlds.
Also Know as the Dog Star
Planets:
Sirius I: Cinder. Closest world to Sirius A, and as such, it's surface is completely molten. it's orbit is slowly decaying, and it will be completely incinerated in less then 10,000 years.
Sirus II: Triol, Duriol, and Sriol. the triple worlds. Triol and Duriol approximately the size of Mars each. together, they orbit each other, with Sriol , approximately the size of Earths moon Luna, Orbiting them.
Sirius III: Zuse. Gas Giant, Currently three times more massive then Jupiter. this is considerably smaller then when Humans first Settled the Sirius System, when it was approximately five times the size of Jupiter. due to this fact, and the fact that it's orbital path is at a 40* angle to the system plane, it is highly likely that It is a recent capture by Sirius, probably less then 2000 years before the settling of the Sirius System.
Sirius IV: Hathor. Gas Giant with One moon, Croc. small Gas Giant with a single Rocky moon approximately three times the size of Earth. Croc is vocanicly active, and appears to be composed of approximately 99.5% silicon.
Sirius V: Anubis. Gas Giant with Three Moons. Taro, Tori, Neko. Anubis is not anything to write home itself. Only the the size of Uranus, It's only particularly unusual fact is it's weak magnetic field, and the fact the 2 of it's moons magnetic fields is stronger then it's own.
Now It's moons are a different matter.
Taro, the closest of the moons to Anubis. A world of Green-blue flora, and of toxic plant life. a LOT of Toxic plant life. Evey bit of soil upon this earth sized moon is laced with toxic compounds, radioactive materials, and unusual large concentrations of heavier minerals. It's very Air is toxic to humans to breather. and yet, it's own blend of life thrives here, and while the planet is not hospitable to a permanent human habitation, several Harvesting outposts have been established to collect and process the plant life. It's magnetic Field is the strongest of the three moons, approximately 1.6 times stronger then Anubis's.
Tori, the second moon of Anubis. While no longer a living world, the Large amount of fossils found upon the world make it self evident that at one time it was a water world with almost 90% of it's surface covered with water, and flourishing with life. now, it is a dry, cold world, lacking any atmosphere. Most of the water and remains of the atmosphere lay frozen in a great ring abound the planet. several projects were underway at the time of the scourge to send this great ring spiraling back onto the planet. once that was done, it was scheduled for teraformation some 25 years down the line, when the surface of the planet had calmed down enough to allow it. Magnetic Field is approximately .96 the strength of Anubis
Neko, the third moon. Heart of the Sirius Systems. slightly larger then Earth with a gravity of 1.2. It is a relatively dry planet, with only a single ocean covering only 1/3 of the planets surface, and several dozen large Freshwaters seas covering about an additional 1/5 of the planets surface combined. this head lead to the vast majority of the interior of the Pangea-type continent to be a vast, flat wasteland broken up with the occasional pockets of water, small mountain ranges, and volcanic rifts. It's skies Regualy fill with Thunder and lightning, as the high dust content of the atmosphere combines with the interactions between neko's and Anubis's magnetic fields. all in all, a some what hostile planet. but of the three habitual planets in the Sirius A and Sirius B systems, it was the least hostile of the planets, and therefor, the best choice for teraformation and colonization of the system. Magnetic Field is approximately 1.1 times stronger then Anubis's.
Human Warp gate Node. Located forward along Anubis's orbital path, it is in fact, The First warp gate created by human hands. It Destination point was the Alpha Centuri system, and withing 5 years of its' creation, there were over 40 warp gates connected to this node. currently, there are only 4 warp gates connected to this node: Sol, Procyon, Regulus, and Rana.

System Profile:
Sirius B, Core Worlds.
Planets:
Sirius VI: metallica. a rocky, earth sized planet approximately 2.5 times more massive then earth. Other then it's unusual density, ther is not much to note about it.
Sirius VII: Raiden. a hostile, violent world. nearly permanently covered in thunderstorms and with a substantially higher percentage of free Oxygen in it's atmosphere, the planet has numerous fires ripple across the surface daily. It has a plenitude of fast growing flora dose keep a large portion of the planets surface covered in green, though the overall varitiy of it is quite low.
Experimental Warp gate Node. As it always has been, Sirius has been the center of warp gate research. the Experimental Warp gate node was designed approximately 20 years before the Scourge, to test a new remote warp gate generator. at minimal power, they activated it, and it worked. in a way. It bypassed the target system, and established a connection to a small chunk of rock approximately 150,000 light years above the galactic plane, well into the galactic void. even worse, the gravitational sheer of the gate was more extreme then any other gate ever created, an only the most sturdy of objects could pass through it. not very useful.
On the upside, they did manage to get a simple telescope through, and we now have some wonderful pictures of the entire galaxy.
OOC: orders in shortly. and probably rana's map a bit later.
