lengthy pauses during auto-play, expected?

I wonder, will this bug show up in the previous version of the mod for you?

v193 worked fine. Unfortanally its gone.

Again, the "bug" you are reporting is usually because you have custom assets of some sort. I would suggest uninstalling Civ4, reinstalling, and only adding the RFC196 mod. It should run fine.

Where is this v196?

It worked :goodjob:

Worked with Persia at least. The only strange thing was I had contact with China when I started with no sight of a chinese unit (opened the worldbuilder to make sure).

Thank you for all your help everyone, especially you Rhye

I've kept most of the old versions, just in case. I assume I'm not the only one?

I could upload some if somebody wants one of them

I don't know if this is connected but playing as China since the beginning, I'll get an indefinite pause (the cursor keeps rotating but nothing happens, can't switch out or Ctrl-Alt-Delete) right after the Carth's appear.

This happened to me exactly like this, but playing with Egyptians. With Greece, about turn 30-40 of auto-play, it pauses. I didn't reported until now because I'm working on a modcomp and I thought it was my fault. But after re-installing everything it happened again. No save, though.

have you tried the dll i posted?

rhye i have a question, im having the same problem and i want to try your solution.I dl'ed that file u posted, but what do i do with that? Thanks

I have tried your first one (the StoredData.dll) but didn't worked. Now I will try the second fix (the RAR file with weird name).

EDIT: It works! Thanks Rhye! :goodjob:

The new .DLL fixed my installation as well. The Romans would get caught in hanging pause at the end of turn, at about turn 35-37. Now it's fixed.
