Someone still wants this? That's just wonderful to know :)
The place I uploaded the files had a 50mb max of files, while I had 195mb of just civ3 stuff. It took them over two years to find it out, but I had to delete them. But I did download them, and all 195mb's are safely on my HD. I think I can ask Thunderfall for a permission to re-upload them at civfanatics.

It is great work and fun.
I guess though that it is meant only to play as a pirate civ.
I tried as the British once and the only thing I really got to
do was run out of $$ But the time it took to stabilize things
it was too late to be able to compete against those damned pirates.
They had run amok, especially against the Spaniards.
I did sink alot of ships though but never enough.

I have not played it in awhile but I liked it alot.
It remains in my own top ten list.
I always tried to think of some way to modify it
w/o making it too easy too play as the British.

Thank you!!!!

Ahoy, Matey! I just took a break from Civ4 to get at my true love, C3C, and tried this scenario. Yahrrrr!!! It's really great. It move quickly and there's a whole bunch of action. Great work--so MUCH better that the Civ 4 Pirates scenario that I have played both as pirates and Spanish.

I had to remove it because the place I was hosting actually started to see if the 50mb quota was being overused (I had atelast 300mb there). I do still have the files myself, so I can re-upload them somewhere, they're about 50mb IIRC.

i keep getting the error message something like cannot find grandbatterysm the game will close now, how do i fix that, because every time i look at the technology tree the game just exits.

i redownloaded everything, and i still get the error message

so..

im running into problems trying to upload the screenshot, i printscreened and pasted to microsoft paint. how do i get it so the file is jpeg or something like that instead of Bitmap? or would i have to use a special program to do that?

Make sure you've got the correct file path. It should go something like Civiliation III\Conquests\Scenarios\Pirates! Make sure you don't put it in the Conquests\Conquests folder.

If that's right than just post saying so. I'm pretty sure I got the same error you got along with several others when looking at the unit section of the civpedia. It's a problem with the Civpedia.txt I corrected it and now the game runs fine. If you like I can upload it. You can play the game without it, you just have to be careful where you go and thus it isn't as fun. ;)

i checked the file path and its fine.
Could you upload the correction please?
thanks againsttheflow

Correction: I meant the problem was in the PediaIcons.txt.

The file is at the bottom of the post.
Just download it, and stick it into your Pirates!\Text folder. It'll ask you if you want to replace PediaIcons.txt. Just tell it yes and you should be set. Let me know if you still have problems.
