It actually went very well. The Germans seemed to launch a final offensive against the Soviets, and I managed to take all of Germany before they surrendered. No East and West for the Cold War :smug:

Eastern Europe - with the exception of Bulgaria, is pretty much Soviet satellite states though. And Greece is mine for some reason - despite being allies their provinces didn't flip to their control when I took them.

I found my Age of Wonders: Shadow Magic cd today, so I played aronud with the editor and made a daimon-gate.

Although I think I should have cut back on the lava. The volcano is a bit large too. The gate is supposed to be the main focus, which it isn't quite.

Britain did well on the African front!
 
Apparently they did pretty well out of losing. They're Soviet now, my main irritation is the split-in-two Czechoslovakia. And Greece not taking back their territories, not sure why that's happening.

As you can see, I have a partisan province in Australia, but can anyone find the only other partisan province in the world? ( EDIT- Whoops, forgot that Juneau was also revolting)

Well, that game was the labor of 3 months of gaming. Close to 16 straight days of playing actually..

@ Captain: No, I meantioned that one in there as well. There's actually 3 provinces, the one in Australia, the one in Alaska and there's one in europe, Rhodes (sp?)

@ PrinceScamp: There are tanks on those islands, so the sprite for the tank takes up more space than the island, so it looks like they are not mine.
 
Just downloaded F.E.A.R. Combat (the multiplayer) last night. It took me a few minutes to figure it out, mostly as to who's on my team and who isn't, but luckily I had played a couple hours of FEAR singleplayer on a friend's laptop so I knew how to play.

an experiment I made in quantity vs. quality

the computer took the Mongols who have the worst infantry, gave them all peasants but gave them tons of them

I took england who has the best archers, gave them the best upgrades I could afford and put them on the defensive in a citadel, but only had 4 Divisions

I almost lost thanks to ammo but the Mongols decided to surrender just as I ran out of arrows
