How often do you attend Church (Or Temple)?

Christian. I used to go every Friday, but then my parents decided that going to tennis lessons was more important than spiritual salvation (they signed me up, and conveniently enough, the lessons are pretty much right on the dot when church is). So basically it's like a ban (since they won't let me go on Sundays).

Usually weekly. Sometimes I miss. Like today, I just went to the early service and didn't say for the Sunday School class. The rare, very rare Wednesday service. I usually work to at least 7pm on Wednesday, so almost never get a chance to go, but to be honest, even on the Wednesdays when I can it's maybe a 50/50 chance that I will.

Once per week, though that may change as I go off to college.

I hope you mean that you will be going more often, because college is not the place to lose sight of what's important. You will not find much moral guidence in the dorms.

i attend weekly. occasionally i'll go during the week. i'm not really strong with my beliefs tho. my parents and some of my siblings go daily.

Are your parents that cruel to you, especially regarding your spirituality and salvation? That is just sad.

They're self-professed Buddhists who never go to temple (I thought they were atheist until I complained about it).

Their words: "Jesus will always be there so you don't need to go to church."

Well okay technically but still, you know...oh well. Whatever...when I move to college, I'm joining those faith groups and going to church.

I used to go to the eight o' clock mass(Or ten, but mostly eight) every sunday and was going to RCIA every wednesday. Then I stopped. Been to one funeral, but I didn't go to the church part, but from what my friends told me of it, it was a good thing I didn't go....

Just go with someone else and tell your parents to jog on:crazyeye:

I did go to temple (mandir) with my family several times and being areligious, mostly I just sat and observed. Sometimes I joined in the recitations and did the flower thing. But yeah I wouldn't usually go on my own accord.

Three or four years ago, I would have gone to church once every Sunday (ish). Now, I openly mock churches in front of my loved ones.. :)

Also: There should have been a poll for this!

I go to church effectively once a week. On those few days when I haven't gone, I've read the Bible at home or similar.

I go to church every Sunday, and youth group every Sunday night. I actually just visited a new Lutheran church last week that I've really liked, so I'll be attending there regularly.

That sucks. There's no way you could find a church that meets on other days of the week? (Saturday and Wednesday are other popular days)

There is one that meets on Wednesdays, but the problem is that it's not a very good church (as in they spend the whole sermon discussing two lines of text and everybody there is a hypocrite - the bad crowd goes on Wednesdays, so preferably I don't want to mingle with that crowd.)

Or, Lightfang, go with a friend!

Yeah, I used to. On Fridays. :p

never, if i walked into a church a would burn up because of the bad things i have done. dont ask about the either

Rebel, Lightfang, rebel!

Seriously, this is a bit repressive, they won't let you go on Sundays?

That's what I said, isn't it? Are you deaf? :p

Nah, it's cool, really. It's not repressive, and it's no problem.

Of course, I need to get baptized...
