Air and Harbor Markers

I have made the Air and Harbour makers a little bigger as there was a little room left.

Edit: Sorry about the double post, the prev looks a little dark as I currently don't have any airports built, but my neighbour did.

Here is the before and after.

Thinking of making some air and harbor markers in colour.

Here is a sample of what I have been playing around with, airplane for the airport and a lighthouse for the harbor.

Thinking I will do a white lighthouse with red strips instead of the ancient one posted here, think it would be more visable.

BTW, the barracks flag was done by Rufus T. Firefly.

Sadly i agree.. the bigger gold symbols work.. but this new idea is not visible unless you really concentrate

Pounder, would you mind posting Rufus's flag as a barrack pcx? It would be great if you could. You do great work.:) :) :)

I used Taé Shala's barrack marker and put it on a button. I still prefer Bebro's flag.

These are great! But yeah, I agree. The flag's better.

Wait, I just had a thought...

Could you make a button version of your colored air and harbor and Rufus's flag? That way, they could have some more color, but still be visible.

I was thinking of that too, I might take a look at it again sometime.

I like the flag, I picture it as part of the town, and I think of the air and harbor as part of the interface graphics.

Yeah, that looks terrific. I think it would look better with the helicopter icon for the airport instead of the mustang. The mustang looks wrong on a modern city. But the harbor icon looks incredible. And the barracks button still sort of looks like it's a part of the city. Could you post it as a barracks/AirandHarbor file?
 
I've restored (had to make new ones) the missing previews that have been missing since the great hack, this is another one of many that I seemed to have missed in the recovery. Updated the first posts along with the download posts.
