I'm unable to download FFH also, have been trying for over a day now. Essentially when I click the download button at Gameflood, it just reloads the same page. If I try right click and download that way it just download a html page. Previously had no trouble downloading other versions.

Any ideas? I'm tearing my hair out in frustration and anticipation.

Thats odd, it downloads fine for me.

I dont know whats happening. I installed gameflood`s software, and i acctualy downloaded the file (it took like 55 minutes), then I selected the option install and everything went ok. But then when i select play it gives me some kind of error message that does not make any sense.

I looked in my harddrive for the file it downloaded but i couldnt find it anywhere. I did install the media pack, but that is not enough to play.

I PMed you Kael and I was a little bit frustrated so dont take that personaly. I just think there should be a place where one can download the file normally and install. It was so easy to install FFH 1, i cant understand why is so hard to get the second going. Imagine how many people are not getting it right...

I just want to play it so badddddd.. Is there a place where we can get it from other than gameflood? PLEASE PLEASE...

Hmm... You may want to try downloading it without there download manager, thats how Im pulling it and it works everytime. You may also want to trying sending a PM to GFGuy, he works for GameFlood and he is awesome at sorting issues like this out.

I have recently downloaded FfH2, (beautiful piece of work!) and have been experiencing some issues... I checked the FAQ and Forums and could not find any posts on the subject, so thought i would.

Now I think that this may just be due to my own CPU/RAM performance, but i hope not. I have an issue where when i load FfH2 and start a game, none of the images for the tile resources are displaying (wheat, cows, etc). Everything else is there. They were working fine before I installed the FfH2 Mod, but now in BOTH FfH2 and Civ4, they no longer display??

Could this be a graphics load issue? Are there just too many in this Mod for my old little lappy to handle? (It can handle Civ4 fine, even on high graphics settings the tile resources display - I just loose the Civ leaders fmv/diplomatic images, all i get are eyes and teeth)

I have also loaded on a no-cd crack so i get the "10 turns left" issue, but doesn't bother me too much and is easy to fix. I don't think this is related.

Really hoping someone can shine some light on this situation...

You could find this issue aready several times here: maybe you downloaded just the patch and not the whole FfH .23-file. Then it is typical. To make it very clear, that means everytime the version changes, you have to download the whole Ffh-file and not only the patch. Hope this will help.

Are you using Firefox? I had that problem until I switched to Internet Explorer for the download; that's why I keep a copy of that installed.

No Internet Explorer. Finally managed to get it to download using free download manager. I set it up to restart on error and adjust file size if it changes. One of those options made it work .

Thanks to Nikis-Knight who pointed me over here, hopefully I can help out!

I'm taking a look at the issues and so far it looks like alot of things can be fixed by confirming your download settings for our manager (http://www.gameflood.com/manager/). Also, check out this thread for a little extra background info on troubleshooting:

Some extra tips:

* For anyone who downloads .25 with our manager and can't find the file on your machine, the default location is usually your 'My Documents' folder.

* If you are using our manager and you click download but nothing happens, try starting the program manually (Start>Programs>GameFlood) first and see what happens.

Hi, Mighty!

Have you tried doing a search on your machine for the .exe? If that doesn't locate the file, go to http://www.gameflood.com/manager/ and click the option to download without the download manager. Let me know if you still have problems!

Hehehe, I actually do this in two different versions on two machines for testing. It is very much an option to have Gameflood only recognize that it is the default manager for just one of the browsers. If you want it to default for both, you would have to go and 'activate' it on the other browser as well via the /manager/ page of our site.

Thanks for that Gabriel21, but I have downloaded the complete file for version 0.23c, this was the first version I came to use. I am using Civ4 'Vanilla'.
I used this URL: http://www.gameflood.com/Mashup/Index.cfm?intModID=8200. I have not downloaded the media file, but i understand that is not neccesary to run the game. Do I need to download the Patch "e" to get this to run? I thought it was for Civ4:BTS only??

No, patch c is the latest for .23.
Yes, the .wmv is not necessary.
I have read that without the Civ IV-CD there are problems. Just look in the enormous number of posts. Sorry. So try it with the CD to make it sure.
Maybe you change the options to make it very much easier for your graphic card to show details etc.

Hey i downloaded the game, but instead of installing it to the default directory, because I have steam, I installed it into the mods folder located there, but unfortuantly, I cant seem to load the mod, it doesnt show up in the game nor does the shortcut work as it asks for what program to open it with. Is this game playable with steam? or am i doing something wrong.

i'm new to FfH so forgive my ignorance. installed bts version + the media pack. But ingame i hear the same old civ4 tune. Wrong install or does the musical fun start in a later stage?

I think that the in game music is pretty much the same as vanilla until you adopt a religion. The some of the religious specific music is awesome. (I think that the media pack is for intro/wonder movies, and doesn't really effect the background music. I haven't bothered to download it)

also, if you zoom in closer and center on a city youll hear that civs musik

GFGuy --> Solved the problem, Im dowloading the mod as I write. I hope this Masterpiece works, but then again I think i will loose my job if it does.

I was taking a closer at Gameflood. And it changed my perspective. Its a awsome site where all the mods are organized, when you can find pearls in there. It was a good initiative, despite the fact that sometimes the manager can confuse people.

Question: Why people have to download FFH2 for BTS? I heard FFH would be in the game. They havent launched the game in Brasil yet, but from what I[ve read in the foruns its not there... Anyone??

FfH 2 is not in the game, FfH: Age of Ice is. This is a senario, a prequel to FfH in which you play as Kyorlin and must lead the Amurites to collect the scattered pieces of the Godslayer and reforge it so that you can face Mulcarn, the God of Winter, slaying him and ending his tyrannical rule and ending the Age of Ice, thus ushering in the Age of Rebirth (in which the normal FfH game takes place).

The senario is ok, but it doesn't come anywhere near to the real FfH, and it doesn't fit my usual play style, (I'm usually more of a builder, and this senario really requires you to actively fight wars from the very start.)

There is a scenario based in the FfH world that we designed in the game, but it is not the full version that is availible here. (well, at Gameflood, linked here).

can someone here help me solve this problem.
i have bts updated to newest patch + civ4 1.74.i like to try this mod so i downloaded the 023c exe + 025f patch since i heard 025 is for bts. but when i try running the game i get many xml error. should i just download the 025 exe normally ?
