Was a paratrooper (airborne infantry. 3/505th PIR 82nd Abn) during Gulf 1 (enlisted during the war). Used my GI Bill/College Fund to get a masters (from Europe) and am currently pursuing my phd stateside.

Yea, the grainyness (and major bags under my eyes) made my eyes look weird, but I rarely take photos so there were few to choose from. Looked for another photo, but no luck :/

If it makes you feel any better, I've always imagined you as a hairy mountain-man type guy. I may not look like Orwell, but I try and think like him! Which, of course, I wasn't doing in that picture..
