CASTILE CALLS FOR REUNIFICATION. Burgos, Castile. The Castilian monarchy has made a bold statement, calling for unification of the nations which formerly formed Spain. The monarch has been given significant flak from these other nations, which stalwartly refuse to acknowledge the possibility of the creation of a new Spain. The Basques of Euskadi have even rioted following the announcement.
ECONOMIC BOOM IN GERMANY AS TENSIONS LESSEN. Berlin, Germany. With the reopening of significant trade with many nations, the German economy has been given a much-needed shot in the arm. Combined with significant industrialization projects at home, the German economy has managed to once more regain its posture. BALKAN WARS: REVENGE OF THE ROMANIANS. Sofia, Bulgaria. The capital of Bulgaria has fallen under siege as the Romanian army has crossed the border into Varna. Reiterating old claims from prior to the Second World War, the Romanian and Serbian governments have announced plans to partition Bulgaria in order to restore stability to the region. Greek insurgents have continued to strike at both Bulgarian and Serbian forces throughout Thrace. Greek successes in the east have spurred a series of assassinations of Fascist Party militia officials throughout Italian Greece.
