I am excited by all these nations in Africa! It will develope into a very different world if it goes on long enough :)

Not that I don't appreciate the pages upon pages of spam already, lets keep it down to a minimum? lol

Thanks Iggy for the named map, though there are a few things out of place. Pylos is actually the eastern Peloponnese nation (the green one) and switch the Seneca and Wampanoaga (though if Jacobite likes it this way we can keep it, up to him). Hopefully that clears the map up.
Those two things are corrected and reuploaded.

BTW, what's the capital off the Mohegan coast?

make some more nations in Asia, india and bangladesh area, please?

What are the gray areas on the map? barbarians?

That, also possibly greater concentrations of humans/ nearing birthing a civilization etc.

An Sp, your being rude again, you can't demand things, you ask, politely.

On the Nation of Taverix
Taverix is something of an anomaly amongst the countless Celtic tribes in Europe. While most remained fairly primitive and disorganized, Taverix became a single nation.

It was the result of an ancient Chief, the eponymous Chief Taverix, who first united his region by the sword. Appointing his most loyal followers as Chiefs in their own settlements, he then declared himself to be 'High Chief'. He has since passed by, and new High Chiefs are chosen through the agreement of the lower Chiefs.

In Taverix, the High Chief holds authority, but Chiefs have a very large degree of independence. People have great loyalty to their Chiefs, often much more than to their High Chief. Unity is ensured by the fact that attacking one of your fellow chiefs is likely to result in your annihilation at the hands of all other chiefs.

The result of this is that the best way for Chiefs to rise in power, possibly someday becoming High Chief (or sometimes becoming completely independent), is to expand and raid outside of your borders. There is also a good degree of internal competition and downright infighting, which the High Chief is required to frequently crack down upon.

The end result of this is that Taverix expands at an extremely fast rate, and raids outside of its borders constantly. Different chiefs often work incoherently in their efforts, sometimes fighting each other to control a new area. Taverix is thus prone to splintering and disorder- but none the weaker for it.

Dark gray are organized, and threatening barbarians. they're the ones you want to defend against, and who will resist bitterly when you try to invade them. they also have a potential to forming into a nation. you can usually contact them though they aren't very good diplomats.

The light gray are more run of the mill nomadic and sedentary non-organized peoples. they will offer less resistance and usually will not invade your territory.

I doubt you can have diplomacy in the normal sense, but you could probably put it in your orders about meeting with them and treating them in specific ways.. with a little encouragment I am sure you could cause new nations to form.

Jason, a question non related to this NES...why did your last one die?

Is there a specific format of orders you want us to follow?

OOC: Why is Iberia in Africa? Is it by RL continents or are you intending to change things around because Africans know about Iberia more then Europeans?

erez, u have my aim! lol. Iberia is just in the African stats for now because they are interacting more with just the Africans and it makes it easier to edit the stats together. when mroe europeans come into contact with iberia ill move the stats. on the map they're in iberia.

no specific format to orders. helps if you copy and past ur stats tho with ur orders. and it helps to have some kind of organization to it.

flavius: not quite sure, i think it was because i either came to germany or was already in germany and realized i didnt have the time i thought i had.

lurker's comment: Why is Pylos where Sparta is and vice versa? That's just confusing.

I was going to comment on that but decided against it. Oh well, the mod hath spoken. We may no longer question it.
