12 of us (3 of whom I knew) spent 8-5 M-F at key boards learning to use Cognos modeling software. It was terribly taught and focused on rote copying from a book to produce text book results. Thew methodology was stupid and we moved too fast to get any understanding of the concepts, so by Thursday, three of us were totally fed up and derailed the teacher and had her change what she was teaching and how she taught it. By Friday afternoon we had salvaged a day of useful learning.I wonder how Bird's time in Denver was
The rest of our time was spent on the 16th Street Mall eating and chatting late into the evening in balmy summer weather.
