Fall From Heaven Leader's Tale - Valledia the Even

The roster should be something like this:

Jopa is UP
then Stuge
Imhotep and Oz should play whenever they can assuming their downloads, patches, everything else is in place.

then finally me
and Rex.

Sorry for all my stuffing around on this but I have suceeded! I'm currently playing a SP game in "i". If I install patch "l", I can open this game and play. I then re-install patch "i" and I can play my SP game. I'll have the turns played tonight. Hopefully this will enable Imhotep to come back into the fold as well.

Thats great news.
I had to do that previously too- its a pain but if you are only playing a turn every 7-10 days, its not so bad.
I.

Yeah, I can do that. I keep the patches on the HD anyway ;) . So I'll play then again too ! :woohoo:

"Build me a navy, she asks." mumbled Georganius, Master Shipbuilder of Kalochy. "Will she provide me with the wood? No, if have to send my workers out chopping the forests."

Spread out on his desk were the latest plans for building caravels, the most modern ship at the disposal of the Amurites. Taking up a pen, he started making changes. Extending some beams here, cutting some down there, a new design started to take shape. No matter how he tried, though, it just wasn't right. There was always something wrong.

"You are doing wrong my pretty friend. Though there is much that is right as well." said a soft voice from the doorway.

"Blast it, who are you?" exclaimed the shipbuilder towards the slightly built, extravagently dressed man gliding towards him.

"I am Victor. You will of course have heard of me, for surely I have heard of you Georganius, though you are comelier than the reports."

"Eer, no, sorry, I haven't heard of you, Victor." stammered Georganius, backing away from the ever advancing Victor.

"Never heard of me, pah, I had heard you Amurites were barbarians but this is too extreme. Let me introduce myself then. I am Victor, master shipbuilder of the Balseraphs. Recently departed from the newly liberated city of Ocells."

"Valledia has sent me to aid you in your endeavours, in any way I can of course. I hope we shall be working very closely on these new ship designs. Very closely indeed."

Sighing, Georganius handed over his latest set of plans. "Fine then, you tell me what we're doing wrong then."

Victor arched his eyebrow as he took the plans and then glanced through them. "Hmmm, not bad but you'll never build a ship this size out of wood. You'll need some sort of metal but not any kind you have currently. We'll have to get down and dirty and look at bonding and melding different bodies together to achieve the desired results. Are you game, Georganius?"

But Georganius was oblivious to the last comments, as Victor had mentioned metals, he had grabbed his pencil and madly started drawing. Looking up, he snarled "Well don't just stand there, sit down and make yourself useful. Look at this, do you think this would work with metal ribbing?"

Sighing, Victor sat down, "You'll have to consider cross-ribbing as well."

The designs for the new ships finally appeared to be taking shape.

OK, then. We have a choice to make.

Perpentach has just one city, which we can take in the next turn or two. He will only give up Military Strategy for peace (neither of us has Feudalism for vassalage). The last city is a double holy city (rok and esus). I'd be inclined to take it and just be rid of him.

Much to my surprise, when we researched Astronomy, we couldn't build galleons. We need iron, so I have research on Iron Working. The troops are amassing at Kalochy and an ex-Balseraph city ready for invasion.

stuge or Imhotep is up next.

I'll try to get in some turns this weekend, but I'm up in 2 other SGs. If stuge or anyone other can play I'd be greateful, if not, I'll manage somehow.
