Childhood of Tranh Le

Tranh Le, Emperor of the Viet Nam Empire, had a very engaging childhood suited to his future. In his young childhood, he learned history and philisophy from various hired teachers. Spending the morning and the evening in the Palace and the afternoon in outdoor activities the yourn Tranh Le grew to be a smart and clever, if slightly lazy and lack of attantion, student.

When he was 12 he was given a unit of 200 men to train into his personal guard. Being a captain who molded his men instead of hammering them into disicple in what is known as the Tranh- Transitive Method he trained them to be emotional yet steely. When he was in his late teens he lead his unit in battle in a war against the Champa, his unit being a main component of victory by smashing through the Champan Left Flank and captureing some important officials. The Emperor eagerly awaits the emissaries of its tributary states. He hopes they come before winter, the signs point to a particularly nasty one this year.

Oh, Might Emperor of Ming, I assume our relations are as they was for the past generations? I bring you good tidings from the Empire of Viet Nam. May our people be rewared for their work and our food bowls always full this winter.

I also agree, the signs here point to a frigid sharp winter.

OOC: Since azale was so kind as to acquiesce to my request for the rulership of France, I hereby bless Azale's Ming China :p

@Israelite, sorry about it, but the thing we discussed will have to take a back seat to France :(

rules said:
The amount of eco points required to advance one level is equal to the size stat divided by the education stat, rounded up. However, due to its highly relative nature, the level is likely to change without the individual player’s input.

Size = Huge
Education = Illiterate

Huge/Illiterate = ????

Help me out here.

I will take the Mutapa Empire please.

If you look through the rules, you will see numbers listed next to the various levels for size and education. For huge this is six, and for illiterate this is two, thus Huge/Illiterate=6/2=3. However, remember that a good plan is often worth more than any money you can spend. I do not do stats on a "plug in these numbers, get this number as a result" method. You may not be successful in your attempts, or you may be able to leapfrog over steps through good planning. Life is unpredicable, as will be this NES.

This battle lead to a massive increase and evential domination in power of the Viet Nam in the area over the Champa.

After the battle his father brought him to his tent and talked to him. He told him that the nation need bold kings, but kings that can alse see the situation. He shared his hatred of listening to long treaties and deals and told him to remember always to double check...

When he was 35 he went on the throne, he was a battle hardened man. He had also traveled too varius parts of China and her tributary system. He also fought small wars against his neighbors, gaining tokens. 9later0
