Here's some general score information about this game:

Technology give (2000/334 * era) points each (that's true for all games btw). That's ~5.99 per tech in this stage, rounded down. So right now all teams have either 17 points (3 techs, like us) or 23 points (4 techs) from techs.

Wonders give 5000/310 ~= 16.12 points each, rounded down (also true for all games). Right now all teams have 16 points from this, for the Palace.

Population gives 5000/918 ~= 5.45 points each, rounded down. This is not true for all games, it depends on the total amount of food on the map. 918 is pretty low, which is consistent with a Highlands map. All teams would have 10 points from this at this point.

Land gives 2000/1897 ~= 1.05 points each, rounded down. This is directly dependent on the number of land tiles. But you don't get points for a tile right away, you have to put culture on it for 20 turns to cash in. So all teams got their number of land tiles in the inner 9 as points the last turn.
 
After team 5, Mad Scientists, the average number of soldiers dropped to 12000 from 12500. In other words, a total drop of 2000 over the four teams - Mad Scientists lost a warrior on their turn.

All other numbers as before.

Likely settled on a plains hill, started building worker.


Team 2 - Darius of Persia / Saturn

Land: (14-X)+6 in BFC, 6 in inner
Pop: 2
Techs: (Hunting, Agri,) Fishing, AH
Score: 55 = 16W, 23T, 10P, 6L

Building warrior until Fishing, then WB.


Team 3 - Willem of the Netherlands / SANCTA

Land: 14 in BFC, 6 in inner
Pop: 2
Techs: (Fishing, Agri,) Mining, Bronze Working
Score: 63 = 16W, 23T, 10P, 14L

Settled on a plains hill, built a WB first. Creative so their borders expand faster, so they now has 20 turns of culture on all their 14 BFC tiles, hence their score lead.


Team 4 - João of Portugal / Cavaleiros

Land: 15 in BFC, 8 in inner
Pop: 2
Techs: (fishing, Mining,) Agri, (Bronze Working soon)
Score: 51 = 16W, 17T, 10P, 8L

We're the only team with only 3 techs, hence our lower score. I just put us in as a sanity check.


Team 5 - Pacal of the Mayans / Mad Scientists

Land: 17 in BFC, 8 in inner
Pop: 2
Techs: (Mining, Mysticism,) Bronze Working, ??
Score: 57 = 16W, 23T, 10P, 8L

Started building warrior.

We'll know the land tiles for teams 1 and 2 in a few turns when they get points for the full BFC. I might have missed what tech Saturn and Mad Scientists researched after their first, will have a look later on. EDIT: It was AH for Saturn. Still don't know MS, but it wasn't a tech that gave any soldiers. Agri or Fishing is likely.
 
Good to know we're not the only ones to have a run-in with a bear. :) Let's hope Saturn loses their scout, too. :p
 
I've done some analysis over the shifts in power levels ("Soldiers" demographics). It's actually possible to get an completely accurate prediction of everything that has transpired so far, using demographics and score together. However, there was one thing that was a bit hard to track down, since we didn't have complete information on scores from turns 15 and 16.

To all future turnplayers, please ensure that the scoreboard is shown in one of your screenshots from the turn! :old:

There are theoretical chances that this is not correct, more teams could have lost warriors and others built them instead on the same turns. But I think we'll leave that as theoretical. :p
 
I'm going to repeat Renata's and oyzar's pleas for someone to log in between the other teams' turns to grab shots of the demographics. It would really really increase our chances to get accurate readings. I'm going to bed now, but if some American is awake and around...
 
Thanks niklas, was wondering how that score worked... It is pretty obvious from score that team 5 have 8, team 1 have 7 and team 2 and 3 have 6 tiles each in small fat cross.

Having ras as turnplayer is great as he'll get the score in there wether he likes or not due to his resolution :D

Kazakhstan grew to size 3, hence their +6 points and the changes in population demographics.

Saturn finished a tech, hence their +6 points. They also got +4000 soldiers, so either they finished TW, or they finished Mining or Sailing and built a warrior. My guess is the former. It would be useful to look over the GNP/MFG/CY to see if that's feasible. Any volonteers? :)
 
No changes in demographics or score after Mad Scientists', Kazakhstan's or Saturn's turns.
 
I played around a bit with our own tile allocations to see when the ranks changed, here's what I got:

Current GNP: 25, 22, 21, 17 (Total 85, Avg 21)
Current MFG: 5, 5, 3, 1 (Total 14, Avg 3)
Current Crop: 13, 12, 9, 4 (Total 39, Avg 9)

No changes after MS turn either.
 
Scores changed due to teams 1, 2 and 5 getting points for their second-ring tiles. Kazakhstan and Saturn got 7 each, sum 14 as we already knew, but now we know each separately. Mad Scientists got 9, just like we knew they would. :smug:

We will get 7 next turn too, reclaiming our top spot.
 
Ras please please please edit your played turns post to include the demographics info, and PT please include the missing scores in your posts, that makes it sooo much easier for us keeping track of things...

Well doesn't really matter where it is as long as it is all in one place, however the played turns thread isn't cluttered by discussion.
 
After my recent bout of analyses I must agree with oyzar. Having it all in a neat row uncluttered by discussion in between is so very valuable. So please if you would. :)

Team SANCTA's borders reached third tier predictably, getting another 12 land tiles inside their borders (14->26). No other changes.
