I'm back. Hello all.

Question - is the new biq the only thing I need, if I have not reinstalled TAC or updated my TAC since probably last June?

Hi Zygmunt, welcome back! Sorry you need to download the Biq and the big folder because there are many changes. But a good new is that the folder is only 580 mb.;) I have deleted more files that were doubled.
 
Update: actually I'm working to some new units to add to my Mod:
- Ottoman Tufeckj - completed
- French Musketeer - completed
-Swedish Musketeer - completed.

Other units (African and european). I need to add German and Swedish units by Sandris.

The update will come as a patch so you cannot dowload the entire original file (i.e. 580 MB!).;)

As for the civ involved I am thinking to modify the Mali civ, and call it Mali-Benin civ, and add the Benin warriors units by Plotinus. Also I ever think to add a 31^ civ, the Swahili City States, but I lack information about that civ, so I am not sure to add it.

And last but not least happy new year to all civfanatics'!!! :D
 
Are you going to add stuff to the Mughal's?

Hi silver 2039. I know the Mod you speak, I have taken from it buildings, wonders and units for my Mod. The problem is that I have no more units for Mughals, so I will go to made some units. The Shirokobbure Thread - resurces for unit makers help me a lot but if you know others links it will be a great help for me.;)
 
Hey imperator could you please post the biq i'd like to have a look at it.

Just one comment from the biq on the first page, Scotlad wasn't united with england and was actually hostile to england.

I have a problem: LOAD ERROR Error reading file - Missing entry in "SCENARIOS\TAC\txt\Pediaicons.txt" ANIMNAME_PRTO_italian_Halberdier The game will now exit.
I have downloaded thre times the complete Mod TAC.rar 508.366KB and TAC_Biq.rar 131KB and installed in Civ3/Conquest/Scenarios.The game crash immediately after this message.
Any help will be appreciated.

HI Innichen. Sorry for the error. It is not and error in download, so dont'dowloand yet the TAC.rar. I post here a new Pedia.txt with the correct entries. Or if you want, open the Pedia.txt and at the end of the PRTO_ entries add:

#ANIMNAME_PRTO_Italian_Halberdier
Italian Halberdier

Sorry another Pedia.txt error. I dont'know why. I have tested the .biq anr there were no errors. But here is a updated PediaIcons.txt.

Sounds like there may have been an error in the mod's installation though things have changed a lot so the easiest thing would just be to check the directory you just mentioned (on my comp would be C:\Program Files\Infogrames Interactive\Civilization III\Conquests\Conquests\Art\Units\Genoese Crossbowman) and see if "Genoese Crossbowman.INI" is in there. It has to be spelled exzctly the same way as the unit folder.
 
Uusally whenever that happens and it appears to be spelled exactly correct I just change the name of both the file and ini...though beware. You also need to change the search file in the PediaIcons.

No problem. I dont'yet take a look to savefile. Sometimes I found this problem testing the Mod, but exit the game e reload the last autosave file the problem disappear. But as soon as I can I will control your savefile. I dont'think it's a problem in your computer.

The Republic of Venice is extremely decadent, and its ancient glory is now history.
The Habsburgs from Austria are now the virtual rulers of the Holy Roman Empire, although they were defeated in the 30 Year War.
The Ottomans now occupie Croatia and Egypt, but they are not as powerfull as the european powers.
France is now the owner of large areas in North and South America, and is becoming one of Europes main powers.
England, after the defeat of Spains "Invencivel Armada" now has the most powerfull navy in the world, and owns areas in North America and Asia.

but i got an error

"art/units/salvish worker/salvish worker.ini"
folder slavish worker doesn't exist.

I tried to play with out the Slave, and another similar error occurs...

Does this mod is complete ???
Or did i something wrong ?

I notice that some had the same pb, and i've follow instruction by downloading the last PediaIcons but it's still ending by an error...

Hi muzbang! This is a bit intriguing question, because in the Mod there is not a Slavish Worker, so doesnt' exist a folder so called. Can you send me the PediaIcons from the file you have downloaded, so I can see if there is wrong? Thanks.
