I've emailed Trynthlas, asking what's going on and if he wants to be replaced. Hopefully he'll respond.
Also, This is completely unrelated to Divine Intervention but I'd like to invite all of you to Night of the Werewolves. I know that I'm going to be participating and I believe that both Winston and Diamondeye are going to as well. I just thought that I'd advertise here since our type of forum member seems to be so well inclined to it. Trust me, if you join you won't be making a mistake if my prior experience is anything to go on. Sign up thread here http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=310373 and general overview link is in my sig.
Well that's three weeks he hasn't logged on. No e-mail response or anything either. Hopefully he's okay but is it time to replace him possibly? I think so...
I owe you guys an apology for not making time to post something here. Story short, work is a . .. .. .. .. . and life outside of work is taking up the rest of the hours I can manage to stay conscious in a single day. Used to be able to jump in for at least a bit during work and post, but even that hasn't been possible lately.
I wish I could say I can jump back in and play some sets in decent time, but it's not likely. Even today I have a crapton of items on my "list of stuff that needs doing" and it never seems to get shorter, which means no Civ.
It's alright Try, we all know work and life is more important then a game of Civ
So I guess if no one wants to put their hat into the nomination for mortal, and if no one has any objections, then i better study up and come up with a really good plot to why the god of Aether has to disappear for a while.
indeed, i already have a few ideas...i will be taking the next round as if it was still Try being monty....but then Tracnar will...well....you will see
if nobody has objections I will have the next update by tomorrow night
EDIT:
I am a little rusty on the last round's changes, anyone mind giving me a quick what im supposed to do/what im supposed to know for the next round from the mortal's perspective? if not i will still do my best
Alright, i have played half the set, too much for me in one night, still trying for tomorrow, but expect Tuesday early afternoon
oh, whoever put the zillions of swordsmen set to smash mode; you have earned montezuma's rage and undying hate.....and made him lose his faith in the gods
Spoiler:
I saw it coming thanks to the remnants of the sumer invasion force and somehow managed to whip and army of archers...lost nottingham and it was razed....the trebuchets were a little much
only 3 swordsmen were left and they were MIA when i quit
It's okay with me if Perpy becomes the Beast. Thanatos killing a god would draw far too much attention towards him and his designs.
Thanatos is still lying low. Especially since Shaka screwed up again. Give that guy an economy and he'll just use it to pay for his ridiculous unit spam. If that wasn't so utterly cliché Thanatos would yell out he was 'surrounded by idiots'
Yeah I hope Izzy fairs better. I kind of forced her to at least give a go at conquering the continent. I also have no problem with Perpentach being the beast. Though I have the feeling TheForestAuro is going to ruin my plans for Spanish domination, I don't like this Tokugawa thing one bit.
I'm good if you're the beast. What should our relation be though, since from what i remember (my god it's been a while!) I was set up to be a major bad guy. Should/could I be like a general to your commander-in-chief-ness. I think that would be the best plan.
And your changes will be in in a few hours at the latest.
