Spoiler Ljosalfar Only :
I Mean it!
Spoiler :
If another other than a Ljosalfar sees, I will skin the **** alive!
Spoiler :
Personal! Ljosalfar Only!
Spoiler :
If you are a Svart and admit to reading this... die...
Spoiler :
I can't believe this! They murdured my parents, my brothers... My whole life? I am supposed to make peace... I must do my duty.... but I must do my duty to TRY to bring peace.

The Lead Counsoler squinted her eyes at the Great Meditator... A tear came out. She wished for some peace, to end the fight that killed her parents...

She knew that at least one Svart is behind this, although in her mind he hopes that the possiblility of a Salf working with a Svart is not true...

"the death of the Meditator is sad: He could have stabilized the peace: That is what the Councilmen are for, we must TRY to work TOGETHER..."

It sounded as if she chewed on the words Try and Together. The counsoler walked back to the tent.
(Nicknames for typong: ljosalfar= Salf, Svartwhatever = Svart. That is how her mind works unless I have to be formal)

OOC: Great, except the Lead Counsel is also a male, unless, holy crap, he is transgendered.

Many fine sentiments expressed. So can we bring joy out of despair? Let all at once agree to a binding peace. Who is not ready to sign after this? Let us see if they dare bring their opposition into public view.

The guard has turned towards the Sheaim representative, who has caused some minor chaos with his "wine".

Please sir, could you possibly spare a drink of that? I'm absolutely parched.

are... are you sure, elf? it is quite strong. it will put hairs on your chest. or it might remove them from your head, or maybe it will kill you. and i'm sure niklas has some... pie filling, or whatever it is you elves like.

but if you insist...

The representative proffers the flask to Stuck in Pi.

OOC: Great, except the Lead Counsel is also a male, unless, holy crap, he is transgendered.

ah... so even the elves themselves find it difficult to tell the difference! thanks, i feel a lot less awkward now. :D

"I wouldn't touch that liquor even if I was promised the Khazak vaults contents when I reached the bottom. Be careful with it, Stuck - we don't want any more people dead.", the siege engineer says with a smile. "And Sheaim, that's only true for the Summer Court elves. Svartalfar women actually look like women. And they bite. Sometimes, at least."

By now, the smile's turned into a grin. "How is the food coming along, cook?"

The Herbalist is busy tending to his plants. The murder of Renata has shocked him to the core, but he does his best to hide it by tending to his plants.

"Oh dear. Poor Renata. Flames and knives and death!" He shivers uncontrollably, but then shrugs off the thought. He distracts himself once again by fetching a can of water to feed his plants.

"No flames or death for you, my friends. He looks at his plants longingly. No, I'd never let that happen to any of you. Grow, GROW up and up, strong and green, yes, you'd like that. He carefully moves some soil around one particular plant and as he is doing so notices a small bug munching away at one of its leaves.

"EEEK! Get away, foul insect!" He swats at the bug, but the bug seems to not notice. "I mean you no harm, but you are harming my friends and you must leave at once! Shoo Shoo!"

The insect, either hearing the old man's pleas or after filing its belly, takes off and disappears into the surrounding foliage.

"Yes, yes. Good insect." More incoherent mumbling can be heard as the ancient Grigori tends to his plants. It would seem years of isolation of tending to plants across the various lands in Erebus had made him rather senile. But he was good at what he did and if plants could talk, they would back up this fact.

Morning Midday Mid-morning, Day 1

KingMorgan had been huddled with reverend oats and Charles Li for hours. Now the Aide called everyone in to listen to what he had to say.

"As I am sure you are all aware," he began soberly, "our Mediator was killed last night. Furthermore, the bridge off this island has been destroyed, which can only mean that our security detail on the other end has been killed or suborned. For the moment, we are stranded. Something has gone terribly wrong with the process designed to ensure the security of this conference, and we expect there will be worse yet to come.

"Your senior diplomats and I have come to the conclusion that we must take matters into our own hands. I will allow them to describe the process to you themselves. It will not be a pleasant one.

"In the meantime, the conference will go on, because ultimately, the cause we are here to pursue is worth more than any of our individual lives. We three are all agreed on that." Charles Li and reverend oats, flanking KingMorgan, both nodded emphatically. "The first matter for discussion is that of the withdrawal of Ljosalfar forces from the region south of Thariss. Diplomatic personnel with a stake in the matter are invited to join me by the temple in 30 minutes. J-man and mergle, please assist."

The Aide, followed by his two assistants, turned and walked away into the fog.

You may now post accusations.

Please BOLD your votes.

The archer don't even know why he should be there.

"Perhaps it's a good thing that i will guard the door to the temple?"

As he walks to the temple with a limping walking style that tells you about an elven lifetime in war.

"I would rather have you somewhere where the rest of us could see you, Archer. Losing the three other Aides would do nothing to improve the situation, and for now, we cannot blindly trust everyone. Stay with us and let us all decide on how to take act against those who are opposed to peace instead."

The mediator party's scribe was shocked by the death of mediator. He walked to the temple and said to himself: "Renata would have wanted for this conference to continue."

As my family has already stated, a peaceful resolution is our desire and since it appears we are stuck in here, then peace is what we should find. I would suggest that we combine arms to help defend us from this threat. If we are willing to consider a future peace, we might as well start here.

I think as the first step towards peace; everyone should come together and sing a song.

cough* cough* clears throat

Spoiler :
"War! huh-yeah
What is it good for?
Absolutely nothing
Uh-huh

War! huh-yeah
What is it good for?
Absolutely nothing
Say it again y'all..."
Everyone sing it with me!

"Look, Stee, would you pull yourself together? We are responsible for the future of the Umbrawoods every inhabitant, and you are singing songs...

I hate to be the first to throw a rock, but we need to do something about our safety, and stee has acted rather strange already. Many of the svartalfar know what I mean, and for those who do not, I can tell them what exactly in private. I have a good reason not to tell the Ljosalfar, although I know it sounds suspicious. Hard as it is, you'll have to trust me."

By now the siege engineer is completely serious again.

The Noblewoman frowns.

Diamondeye has a point. Stee must die.

What are you talking about, we're not going to kill people already.
Besides, we need better evidence than 'he's been acting strange'... Some people react differently under pressure, that's all.

OOC : No lynching on the first day, right ?

Speaking as Ljosalfar Palace Guard, how can we protect the diplomats if we don't know who to trust? We must present a united front to defeat this threat.

{OOC: We can do lynch-votes now, see post #47}

The Sheaim, seeing that no-one seems to want to sample his wine, takes another swig and turns to the Ljosalfar palace guard.

some might call that a united front, zpv. some might call it... a bandwagon. i realise that this lynch voting will only hurt the peace process, but the solution is not to blindly agree with whoever is quickest to accuse... we must create a dichotomy here. separate the two issues. difficult, but possible.

and i do not think that my esteemed colleague from the lanun, stee, is to blame. of course he starts singing songs under pressure, he's a seadog! haha! i would join him, but alas, i only know heavy metal songs.

instead i would prefer to target the silent ones, the leeches that contribute nothing. bodyguard chandrasekhar... speak or die.

{OOC: We can do lynch-votes now, see post #47}

OOC : Totally missed that. Maybe it was edited in after I read it.
Anyway, now I've got to think of something... Although I'm inclined to strike the silent ones also.

OOC: Feel free to join the bandwagon. Next stop... VICTORY!
