Hbar, if you can, get to AIM: the only reasonable way to tech trade other than Gmail!

I offer a Trade Alliance to all who wants. In a trade alliance we agree on projects for a few years to complete, then cross trade it to all members. There will be suggestions and advice for and from all members. Open Borders is not nessessary but it is advised to post all first-tier techs you have already so other members anc boasts you up in exchange for others.

Sorry, AIM is a no go. I do have gmail, but not chat where I am (at work :mischief:). I sent you an email though, post again if you don't get it.

I have a question, If I have two spices farms, I am allowed to trde spices to two people?

If I trade for Copper, can I still trade it out?

If I got a domestic Tin resource, can I still use it after trading it out?

Thanks! Working on that story of finding the master.

The Treaty of Bannor and Grigorian Relations
Let all men know, this document is the official statement of Bannor protectorship over the Grigori peoples, and is witnessed by our Glorious and Holy Lord, Junil.

1. The Bannor Empire will use their political power and influence to protect the Grigori peoples from harm. This extends to, but does not necessarily require bartering gold or trade.

2. The Bannor Empire will harbour no hostile ambitions towards the Grigori peoples. We will treat the Grigori as our friends and equals, and will allow them to expand and grow freely, without Bannor interference or obstruction.

3. Should the Grigori be invaded the Bannor will send aid, either in the form of troops, food, gold or any other suitable vector to the Grigori people. Likewise, should the Bannor be threatened, the Grigori should send reinforcements if they are required by the state of Bannor. However the Bannor are not required to send aid when domestic problems occur. This is defined as trouble caused from within the Grigori state, or by unforeseeable natural disasters, or by factions not recognised as an independent state by the Bannor and Grigorian peoples. Similarly the Grigori are not expected to send aid to alleviate domestic issues in the Bannor.

4. The Bannor ministers and officials will offer advise to the Grigori on any matter that they require help in.

5. The Grigori will not foster anti-Bannor-ism amongst their people and will do their upmost to remove the false philosophy that the Bannor are an enemy of the Grigori people. The Bannor will not foster the idea that the Grigori are the servants of the Bannor.

6. The Bannor will not demand, extort or require anything of the Grigori more then the payment already agreed upon.

7. The Grigori will pay the Bannor 8 gold per turn, every turn for their services. The Bannor may choose to postpone a turn's tribute until the following turn, at the appeal of the Grigori, should they wish, but all tribute must be paid at some point.

8. The Grigori may, at any time they believe the Bannor to be faulty in their duties to the treaty, void this treaty, paying the Bannor on that turn any outstanding tribute from previous turns. Similarly, the Bannor may choose to void the treaty should they feel the Grigori are reneging in thier duties.

9.The Grigori may not leave this agreement while payment to the Bannor is still outstanding. The Bannor may not leave the treaty while the Grigori are at risk from foreign powers.

In the city of Renth Yithi, the Dying Dragon is a famous tavern.
Not so famous for its fine drinks or exquisite food as for its all too common brawls and fights.
This evening, a drunkard begins talking about "the treaty".
"Shame."
He rises, kicking his stool down, and looks around him.
"Shame I say! The Bannor ask us to give them gold, and in exchange, we should send reinforcements if we are required! And then the Bannor are not required to send aid to us!
Did you read it? That's what's written in their d** f** treaty.
You know what? I bet the Bannor have sent their zombies upon us to attack us. Ever since the Fists of Balance were betrayed they have been using us as slaves. We are but subjects for them to experiment!"
The man is shouting now, and obviously drunk.
"You should calm down, Matti, says the bartender. We don't need no more fights tonight."
"Calm down?"
Matti turns and slaps his hand on the bar.
"I will not CALM DOWN! You know what? I know what I'm going to do. I'm not going to stay here, with you cowards. I'm going out. I'm not letting myself obey Bannor in any way. Finding that Tuan fellow I will. I'll join him, and join the REAL Fists. They came back, you know? 'Twas one of them, you know? HE didn't die. All of us Grigori didn't die that day, we aren't all cowards, ye know? No boot-licker, me! Traitors will PAY!!"
Matti starts walking out of the inn, knocking a table on his way out.
However, it's unlikely he will ever join the Fists, this Tuan or anybody else, as he falls asleep in the street a few yards out of the inn, and will not wake up from his alcoholic slumber for quite a while...

Hum hum... :mischief:

Seriously, this is just an official, written up version of the agreement that's been in effect for almost 100 years. I don't see what all the fuss is about...

Darn, editing story.

I need 8 gold, to be borrowed or regened without major consenquences for technology or similar for our battle against the Zombies.

Or I can hire ******* for 15 gold... hmm... I didn't really think about that... Math ... hmmm...quite a manageble sum... Still, I need some gold.

So... uh.. there is a peace treaty being signes as I speak, right? so no stab each other in the back business?

Yes, 100 years of extortion, and now you are "exporting" your zombies against the Grigori.

Zombies, skeleton, I wonder what's next *stares at the Luchuirup, then to the Amurites, then to the Sheaim, then to the Kappa, and finally to the 'Als*

(OOC: at least one of them must have a dirty little secret)

From the Ir-O-Kee:

To: The Grigori:

We will assist you by sending part of our army to defend your cities.

To: The Clan of Ember:

Don't even think of attacking us. Our borders are defended by the bravest and most stoic of our soldiers.

She was coming. It was the moment he had been waiting for.

Irjik the half-breed bent to polish his thick leather boots one more time, rub grime from his armor and bending a knee to the dirt, thank Bhall for the chance to serve her prophet. He was ready… he would finally come face to face with the goddess’s chosen voice and have a chance to please her. He mustn’t disappoint. Irjik scrubbed harder at imagined scuffs to his armour.

To his right the division was lined up in perfect rows. To his left the division was lined up in perfect rows. They were the best of the best, the most elite warriors that the Clan could offer. They were orcs, gnolls and half-orcs, even some humans and each was fanatically devoted to the fire goddess.

Evavi Gohan had trained them to be loyal unto death… loyal beyond death. Already their most devoted members had trained to operate in the shadows, as assassins ready to lay down their lives to reach their target and invoke the prophet’s will. Those that stood with Irjik today were the same; each prayed for martyrdom, to die in glorious battle serving their mistress.

Then he saw her. Clad in warrior’s leathers and carrying a long fire-hardened oak spear, Ember did not appear a day over 25 and yet they said she was already over 100 years old, certainly older than any orc or half-orc that Irjik could think of. Irjik thought her beautiful. beautiful and wise... and dangerous...

The prophet’s dark eyes shone with sparking divine fire and as she gazed upon the martyr-seekers, she smiled.

The commander called, “Cinder Martyrs, Attention!”

The clan of embers introduces its new mini-hero unit, the “Cinder Martyrs”. They are based on spear militia but command minor divine Bhall-flavored magics (as the Shield of Kylorin commands arcane magics- ie- not much but just a little bit) and have excellent discipline and morale.

:wavey: Pick me! Pick me!

Well, its an in-game secret anyways. Not quite as fun.

Apparently, thomas, that paranioa is justified. I've found that paranioia is almost always justified, and a very good survivial technique as well...

I just developed Said Paranioa, and got dianoised for Paranioa disease, by said Thomas. :P

Volenteers, Together!

A weary man walked down the road. He knows that what he is doing might lead him to be hated for centuries, but he knows that this is the only way for his nation to survive.

He walked up to the town's Courtyard, a giant plaza surrounded by half-plazas and the administration quartors. He walked slowly... for he will lead countless to Death, to save his nation.

His weary eyes peered into the crowed. Young ones stopped war games of stones and sticks. Older ones looked up from their trade, their faces annoyed but hopeful. Dreamers stopped recording inventions, curious of this stranger... Word traveled fast of the government official and the decree half ticks past noon.

The time passed slowly, the shadow on the local sundial was insinuating toward the second tickmark. It will be the last moments many of the villagers would have as a simple citizen.

The time came. He saw men eager to do more but furious at the lack of funds. He saw families weeping in the dust over the loss of a relative to the south. He saw men ready to fight... ready to fight for their nation... it is time.

He cleared his voice. "Citizens of Teriz Ganzi (The Hamlet of Teriz), I represent the Grigori Council. For years we have worked hard to our visions of the future. For years we have let our military slide. Now, even our allies have greater armies than we, and our unstable alliance with bannor already proven that they refused to help us, the command decided to take this into their own hands. We ask you to volenteer to the military, to join the brave souls fighting for our homes. The new division has only 500 positions left for strong men to fight for the future. Join to fight for all you believe in: In Freedom! In Liberty! In Grigori!"

His last words are overwhelmed by cheers. Mass after mass of men joined the division. All of them eager to fight and to save their brothers. Herthi, Youri, Hiun and Ir-O-kee, all from the land joined the camps arround Trodai Yithi. Brining a shovel, a hoe, a spear. A shield or a ax, a knife or a staff, they were ready to fight...

For Grigori, the land of dreams! They will march on! (The formation of the Volenteer Militia, primaraly to keep high morale against the Zombie Crisis, I am not that sure I will do that as I spin numbers between hiring various nations, the silver grass... the mages.. but I will be sure they can be a option to choose!)
