Regarding the Kappa's birthing - they are descended from humans, so they have live births. The young usually spend their first 18 months in a communal pool where the women take turns caring for them. They cannot breathe underwater, although they can hold their breath for a very long time, and they can swim from they day they are born. They do not have turtle shells or fish scales, but webbed fingers and toes are fairly common and seen as a sign of good fortune.

The Sovereign Nations of the Kuriotates, Grigori, Kappa, and Mist Elves hereby declare the following clauses as law and shall seek to uphold them. We call upon Amathion, the Overlords of the Undertow, Sucellus and Daghda to solidify this treaty as legitimate and just.

A note on the term ‘Three Nations’: regardless of the actual number of nations involved in the alliance, the alliance shall be called the ‘Three Nations’. The term ‘three nation’ will apply when speaking of any 3 particular nations.

1) The Three Nations shall regard one another as favoured partners in the matters of trade and economical prosperity. If trade routes may be established they shall be and goods shall flow free between the Three Nations so long as the trade of such goods do not produce economical damage to either nation. Within the Three Nations we shall designate three respective provinces to serve as the focal points to conduct trade and these cities shall function with open boarders to any of the Three Nations.
Trade routes shall be designated to fellow alliance members preferentially and only in rare cases approved by majority decision will the be directed outside the alliance.
(Free Trade Clause)

2) The Three Nations seek not to war, but should war come to us we shall respond swiftly and efficiently. In times of martial struggle if any of the Three Nations calls for the other members of the alliance to aid them in their hour of need they shall or face not only material wrath from their spurned allies, but the unkind hand of the Gods. However, unless separate agreements are created the Three Nations are not obligated to join themselves to any offensive military operations their allies find necessary to undergo.
To clarify, a war brought about by the unilateral aggression of a treaty member upon a third party does not require the assistance of other treaty members.
(The Defensive War Clause)

3) The Three Nations seek the flourishing of our allies and their peoples, so should misfortune befall our dear friends aid shall be given freely and without the burdens of recompense. If blight, magical, natural, or otherwise, visit itself upon your sister-nation aid shall be given so long as it does not jeopardise your own peoples and state.
(Aid Clause)

4) The Three Nations shall share with one-another any and all discoveries that are made with the other members of the alliance. When one alliance member has access to the technology of a rival and that technology bears the 'cultural stamp' of the rival, that nation can be asked (and would have to comply) to 'naturalize' that technology and share it with our fellow alliance members if a majority of the Three Nations vote to do so.

Furthermore, the members of the Three Nations hereby agree to coordinate technology research and to work in conjunction with other members of the alliance so as to ensure the most practical and effective means of development for the entire alliance. This includes, but is not limited to, full disclosure of technological developments uncovered, both domestic and foreign.

Trade of technologies with nations outside of the alliance needs to be approved by the alliance by a majority vote.
(the technology clause)

5) Membership in the Three Nations brings many advantages and many responsibilities. Membership of the Three Nations can only be approved by unanimous decision amongst the current members.

Any member of the Three Nation who wishes to leave the alliance may do so only with the consent of majority vote otherwise they are breaking the treaty and will suffer the punishment of the gods. Of course, if a good reason exists to leave and the member is willing to make the split on beneficial terms with the alliance members there is no reason to think that the majority vote will not be provided.
(the membership clause)

The White Queen of the Elves, Isil Carnesir, rightful sovereign of the White Mist Elves, hereby sign this charter. Agares take those who would break its vows.

I, Toren first Mayor the Grigori, hereby swear, on behalf of the Grigori nation to adhere to the Three Nations Charter.

I, Micelaos Krama, Elder of Kuriotates council, agree to replace the old treaty with this treaty. My people shall abide by its regulations. May this alliance bring wealth and rain fire upon those who are against it.

I, Yoshi-kami, acting on behalf of the Mingled Council of the Kappa, hereby ratify this treaty. May the seas rise to embrace those who stand against us.

... I don't really see any reason to sign that... this world is fast becoming the U.N.

That will go to hell once the Amurites get a Circle Five Spell "Aether Destruction" that mimicks, and exceeds, the powers of a nuke. :P

[It cam from out of the Shadows] Correct me if I'm wrong but is the Cult of the Flesh the Cult of Aeron? If so, it should have spred to the Bannor, not the Amurites;)[Back to the Shadows]

It does seem to be worshiping Aeron. That reminds me of Kael's latest story on Os-Gabella...

Ummm? Why? It spread to the Amurites because the peasants needed something they could relate to. In Bannor we have the Saints Cult to fill that niche. Aeron is just about the only Evil God we're not somehow tied to :).

The Bannor see no need to sign this Corbus treaty. Although we wish them our very best intentions they will soon regret a treaty of neutrality and so, out of the kindness of our collective heart we will not be signing away their ability to join an alliance if ever they find the need to do so.

See, that was my reasoning... Goodwill and all.

Well, yeah, not so much the Bannor as You, the former Chosen/Archangel of Aeron.
(In an alternate dimension with not connection to this one, where Amurites were the Bannor, with the only similarites being Rinwel Island and Stirges)

you are a very attentive lurker darksaber. feel free to vote in the bardic tales competition.

EDIT: lets test how attentive you were:
where was the reference to the demonic prince in the bronze tower from?

(open question to all execpt those with whom i already discussed it)

We understand your goodwill and everthing. and we know that our way might not be the most profitable. but this is the way of the corbus. and all we ask for is that you try to understand our way and our motivations. We spend some time between the nations of mammals already. and we realized that we are different. not just in our biology, but also in our culture...
and we simply can`t put down our signature under one of your great treaties.
So please, show that you will respect our way of peace and sign the treaty.

Spoiler :

In FFHNES I, there was an epic battle during the 14th Amurite civil war ( ), and an old witch summoned that demonic prince. He would have won the day were it not for some divine intervention on the part of Junil's angels. So, he ate the old lady's soul and went home
