So who are the good players that play regular multi? Which players do you guys watch out for when playing that ffa?

ermak wins unless i am playing against him

There are many good players for all differents settings.

Globaly you can find 2 types of games : Open ones and League ones.

Open one are, as named, open to anyone, then you can find any skill level.

To join league ones you have to be register in a league, these games are passworded and it's here you'll find best players in the world.

For example our league www.civplayers.com organize each 6 weeks the CCC (Clan Championship Cup) which is the world cup of civ4.

You have others league as the French one, www.civfr.com or the German one (http://www.the-battlefield.com/index.php?page=maingame&game=civ4&setlk=fr) where you'll find very good Pitboss/PBEM players.

Moineau is both really good at CIV, and really good looking. He's got it all!

Generally speaking, the best players right now across a broad range of "normal" MP settings are probably (in no particular order): Metallian, Moineau, Penny, BigB, OT4E, Rokkitlauncher, Matth, Mil0, MissLadyLuck, NumberOneMercury, Pandoras Revenge and many others I apologize for not listing. If pushed, I'd probably say the best are Metallian, Moineau, BigB, Rokkitlauncher, NumberoneMercury and Pandoras Revenge, in some order.

It's something else to see what an unbelievable player can do with this game, and the mess it leaves me in. The difference in what you need to do to be successful in this game, and what some of the best players around do, must be substantial. I'll let you know what they are when I figure them out. :crazyeye:

Both Moineau and Speaker are humble. Excellent players both. Moineau is better looking though. ;)

My multi player login is yarp, as for best players, i think that can be argued by opinion from almost any side. some players are more experianced than others though... Also, i think people underestimate the tech advantage strategy, one of my favorites.
