Ok, with my three months of summer vacation and modding behind me, I have a wishlist for you:
What Avain said
And CAR mod
That's it.
What Avain said
And CAR mod
That's it.
I think these plus the Global Warming mod are must haves.1. BUG 4.0 with DLL changes (BULL)
2. Better BTS AI 0.80 + Unofficial Patch for BTS 3.19 v1.10 (hope this helps the AI boarding hang-up bug,if not, it needs to be squashed)
3. Correction for Project-dependecies
4. CAR Mod: Civ AcceleratoR: http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=332196
5. Orion's Inquisition Mod ver 2.50C for BTS 3.19: http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=300619
That's it. Most of this is in everyone elses list of wishes. But for some reason everyone else is ommiting the two biggest issues. Multiplayer and rev index exposure. These two things are broken parts, that really need to be fixed to flush things out.
Yeah me too, but I think this gets added lower on the list.Oh, And I second that motion.
Yes, they do. A lack of interface usually indicates that something with the Python code is going wrong - i.e. something is conflicting with the files in the mod - most probably BUG.Dune Wars (I guess) or RevolutionDCM Mod have no "control panel" GUI at the the bottom to control the units.
eskar,
what language are you using?
os79 - thanks!
Little explanation: BUG is sort of always loaded, as it's installed into your custom assets, overriding the standard files (the custom assets directory is in your "My Documents\My Games\Beyond the Sword\..."). FfH2 has that ini-flag set to 1 to specifically ignore things like BUG - if it's not set, the game WILL try to load the mod and BUG at once, usually with rather unfortunate results if the mod touches similar files as the BUG (for example RevDCM is, I think, still on BUG 3.6, which is integrated into the mod, ditto Dune Wars, so you see, the game wants to load two different BUG versions at once).English.
I have BUG4, but it's only there when no Mod loaded. If FFH2 or RevolutionDCM is loaded I don't think Bug is. Certainly, the extra features are on ordinary BTS, and FFH2 has original panel.
Thanks.
Better that way... it's just something some people do when they install mods the first time or so, so it's better to ask to eliminate a possible source of errors.I don't think I've ever copied anything into "My Documents"
