Perhaps that was the only way you cities could actually trade with each other! Or anyone else considering Julius is not too happy with you.
Contrary on the popular belief, "open borders" don't affect the trade routes. War does. That means 2 civilizations can trade through a 3rd one (completely blocking them) as longs as both of them are not in war w/ the 3rd civ.
A lot of fun to read, as always. It's weird, being on the other side of one of these things. It's all over but the shouting at this point. One request, though: When you're pointing out an enemy stack or whatnot, mouse over them when you take the screenshot. That'll show off its makeup.
The problem with this is I use shift + printscreen to autonumber the screenshots, so whever that screen comes up the mouse/cursor shots goes away. I prefer NOT to just hit printscreen as it takes too long to organize them. My segment postings is a bit faster than most, this is likely one reason, my gaming takes alot longer than the write up!
A while back I switched to just hitting print screen. It orders them from 000 to 001 to whatever, and when I upload them it always puts the new batch in front of the old, making it reasonably easy. The only hard thing then is knowing what's in the screen shot to comment on it, but I can usually remember or tell by looking at the thumbnail pic. With that, my write-ups are also lightning fast, few of them take more than 1-4 minutes.
Scotland yard, military academy, academy, 2 settled GG, 2 settled GE, and a settled GP and you burn it to the ground? Ouch, that vile AP. I mean, I know the game's going very strong for you already, but damn, that's a tough city to torch.

Edit: still, ouch. Looks like sem popped an extra iron as well. Athens had the markings of an A+ moai city, even this late in the game, it would have been an awesome military pump for your conquest of Europe.
