Evening 3
It had been a sad morning today for the innocent soldiers of the outpost, and the somber mood would have likely carried onto the rest of the day had it not been for the efforts of a select few. In the afternoon, the 1st Private Diamondeye finally found a way to express, and at the same time, come to terms with her grief over Renata's death. She sent the fallen off on a song to honor them. To follow it up, the Cook Askthepizzaguy made a feast fit for kings. Or it least it seemed that way after all the grub they had been forced to choke on recently. It went a long way towards raising everyone's spirits and cooling down some of the tempers that had begun to flare.
Despite this, by the time the evening came rolling to a close along with the feast, the soldiers' bloodthirsty instinct for survival, though it had been temporarily repressed, began to rear its ugly yet all too necessary face again. There had been two deaths this morning and the mob wanted the throats of those responsible. In the end, it could not be decided upon who the murderer was, so the attention instead turned to those who weren't actively engaged in helping out the survivor's cause. It was the
Biologist Icekommander that got the short end of the stick. The firing squad lined up despite her protests that she was innocent. They fired, and she was dead. They searched her body and her room, and found that she had some lab equipment that no one knew how to use, but more interestingly, she had some goo in a jar labeled
Radioactive Material, and
Reference Books. They determined that based on what they found that:

Strange Box Blame. And with that everyone headed off to bed.
