NotW XXX: Dark Radiance Game Thread

Due to unforeseen complications, the morning update will not be able to be posted today. It will be up tomorrow at the normal time. I apologize for the delay.

Looks like its another night defending myself with a police baton.

I feel the sun peeking into my room or at least I would if it wasn't for the weather.

Morning 4

It was a dreadfully quiet night, with one exception. It was fairly close to morning when a succession of multiple gun shots echoed throughout the base. For those closest to the epicenter, it was quite a loud ordeal. For those farther away the shots were more like a faint clap. No matter the case, it woke everyone up, just in time to hear the most ghastly, inhuman screech to ever grace the soldiers' ears. No one wanted to go out and face whatever thing had uttered that, so predictably everyone cowered in their rooms for the rest of the night. After that moment, no one got a single wink of sleep.

In the morning everyone still alive headed back out to the main room to determine what damage had been made during the night. It was quickly found that only Stee was missing. Everyone headed off to Stee's room to find his body. On the way to his room, they walked past sprig's room. Amazingly, it appeared his door had been melted down by the same acid substance as the previous victims, yet he still looked fine. In fact he hadn't looked this healthy in over a few months. There were more pressing matters at hand however, so everyone turned their attention back to Stee.

Just as predicted he was dead, his door and remains in the same state that all the other victims had been. The only thing found in his room were his Electrical Tools. It was determined that:


Stee's body was quickly moved and with that completed everyone returned to their normal daily duties. With only the Electrical technician working the generator, it became noticeably cooler and the lights began to flicker. On the bright side however, the appliances still had power. A few minutes later, however, the Recon Officer Blame gasped out in astonishment from her second floor lookout post. She quickly returned to the main room of the outpost to explain what she saw.

"I can't believe it! I can't believe it!" she repeated over and over. "Using my high powered binoculars, I saw that there looks to be two figures approaching from the bottom of the mountain!"

I don't like how Diamondeye threw Icekommander to the wolves just to protect himself and use the reasoning of wolves to justify it.

To be fair Icekommander was an inactive and we were in the position of not having any good evidence to lynch anyone else. DE knew that Icekommander was useless or worse than useless (by not using his abilities and items as an innocent - assuming he was back then) and it was clearly better that DE live than Icekommander live.

Stee really hadn't done anything in this game - just a few item votes to people. Why did the WWs kill him? He made no accusations - maybe they are trying to take down the power or something???

This sounds like some kind of clue...

The ex-commander strolled out of his room past the acid melted door. For the second time in a row someone had tried to get in his room. Whoever it was must have been stupid. How could any of the bases members forget the skills of the once mighty Commander? A few nights back when he shot on that traitor Autolycus, that should have reminded them all of his magnificent skills.

The Commander gazed around the base and fingered the pistol that was at his side. He saw the Rifleman and nodded politely in his direction.

I also think the tools should go to beefy.


My question is, if all the engineering people went down, could any of us use such tools? Maybe this would be better answered by anyone who held the tools or the game host.

Hmmm. Perhaps our attackers don't have to show their faces directly when they attack us. Maybe they have trained an animal, or perhaps (wild guess) they can transform into a werewolf......

The Government representative poked his head out of his room.

"Did I hear something about Documents? I believe that may fall under my jurisdiction."

"Although I am no fan of Diamondeye, I think that the move to lynch him so quickly by Methos is an attempt at raising a confused crowd against him!"

If they were planning to take the power down, they did pretty well.
Lets see if having two tools can make up for his death...

I will take the Electrical tool.

Also, didn't we have a chemist around?
Do you recon you can do something with that radioactive material?

Not much use I can get with the radioactive material. I guess I'll take it. As for the accusation, I suspect Diamondeye for dragging his fellow men into the wolves.

Now why on earth, ex-commander, are you having suspicions on me. Just because you don't recognize me. I'm not some runt who crawled out of a vault.

While I'm not 100% sure on DiamondEye I will put a support vote in for him. Let's not rush in shouting out names at random like this so early on when it's not like we are desperate for someone to lynch - it's only morning yet!

Now where is everyone else

You know, I really don't think Diamondeye would be so forward about getting someone killed that he knows is innocent if he's a wolf. Maybe we don't lynch everyone he says to, but I am finding the odds not good for him to be a wolf.

Just my opinion.

Does anyone have a substantive reason to vote for anyone?

Yes, let's sort out this items business firstly this morning and in the meantime try to think who (and why) might be a WW.
